  1. Hello Friends, i have relumed a MBW 1680 Dial just for fun.. For the markers i take Revell Nightcolor and to finish a clear mat vernis.. Here the result.. Remember thats all macroshots And installed on a MBW 1680 It makes a spooky shine on the markers in the dark I like the creamy color of the markers, not too yellow...
  2. No,your movement is better
  3. Thats in the Magnification of the cyclop.. i think in your El is it up to 3x... Rehautdetph and number of magnification makes the date look correct..
  4. Great, this case is hard to find.... I'm searching for tw case with no lugholes for an other project, but can't find one Ok members,if everyone is out there who has a TW Best Sub with no lugholes please sell it to me...

  18. I like to work on my watches, hunting for pieces... it makes a lot of fun, i learned a lot in meantime... most from fellow members here... Modding is a special thing for me,damm i love to put my fingers on a rep... that makes a watch special for me... When the result is good ( in my eyes) i love it... This babys will never go out of my box.. There are different reasons to collect reps for the people here... Mine is to build a nice and better watch, thats all.... It's a hobby and for me great one... Like Randy said: "It takes all types to make the world go 'round... Bottom line (at least for me)... Do what makes you happy, and set your expectations accordingly... " RG Tribal
  19. Yepp By -Tor,Gen Insert is in the pipeline.... I manage to grind down the Bezel, that the Insert snaps in... I post some pics of the progress...
  20. You must drill up to 2,8mm or 2,9mm ... First time i used my dremel... I think a hand drill will work better... There is more control about the work.. You can get Cobaltdrills in all dimensions... After you have drilled to the right dimensons, you must grind down the hole, that the Tube sits flush on the case... After that retapping...
  21. Yes man... But on the MBW the hole is about 2,5mm and its low on the case... You must drill up in 0,1mm steps, when you don't, you see where you drilled on back of the case... Not like on CN Subs..
  22. yes it could,no damage really but small dinks on the dial...
  23. I have changed the Overlay on my Sub too.. I think its a big improvment.. Look here.. My 1680
  24. I hope you get one.... ..and after some time i wiil see a great Frankensub...
  25. Thats a good choice to become a good Moddingbase... Put the Dial and the datewheel from your TTK Sub on the watch, also the bracelet.. Install Gen Tube and Crown,Gen Insert and you hgave great Frankensub.... But Caution its not so easy to install agen Tub,because you must drill the casehole and retapp..
