  1. The pearl still looks like garbage. This is my number one complaint with Subs.
  2. I happen to see these screensavers on the Rollie website today, so I thought I would host them to mo make it easier for you guys to download them. 3. The only real solution to this problem is to order a genuine dial Ofrei. Not only will this solve the problem of the logo, but you will also get the bright orange markers, if this is your thing like it is mine. I have had plans to do this since receiving my UPO for Christmas, but the $212 price tag for the dial, plus $60 for the hands, has kept me from biting the bullet.
  4. I must have missed something, Tak. I thought this was this logo on the PO being discussed.
  5. It's not the size that I was talking about. This is the first PO rep that I have ever seen without the little turn-ups and the feet of the Omega logo. This is how a PO logo should be, and I have alway been surprised that they never got this right. I'm not saying it's a good rep, but the wrong PO logo has always bothered me, and I'm happy to see that someone recognized this important detail, even if they did ignore everything else.
  6. WOW! You brought in a pretty good haul over 3 months. Obviously, you are not married.
  7. I love the fact that the logo is the proper shape. For $120, I would keep it for a while.
  8. Yeah, I am quite bruised at this point.
  9. I am having second thoughts about NOT buying this Breitling Chrono Avenger today. My gut told me to stay away because it was under priced, with NO bids, right up to the end when a bid sniper placed the winning bid with 3 seconds left. Also, the sellers feedback is a little less than stellar. I'm kind of kicking myself in the ass now, because this was a money maker. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...A:IT&ih=020
  10. What? you didn't like Betamax?
  11. I liked the idea of LG's dual format player, but the price was too high.
  12. Did they really rep this watch?!? I have to say that I'm really surprised.
  13. No doubt, Andrew. It's beautiful!
  14. What method do you use to install the hands?
  15. Notice the autograph on the side pod. I got that from him right after he exited his car after qualifying in Detroit some time ago. I used to be a HUGE open racing fan before the whole CART/IRL thing in the US and Schumacher eliminated the meaning of competition in F1. All of the CART guys used to know me and my buddy, because we were in the pits and paddock for the entire weekends of both MI CART races every year. We have traveled to Toronto and Cleveland too. We were like groupies. It's a shame that F1 won't work in the States. People here have no idea what real racing is all about.
  16. Is is not obvious why this is one of my favorite watches? I really missed wearing my 253 while the crystal was away on it's journey to Poland for double AR. Unlike the sapphire crystals the Jakub usually coats, this one is mineral. Due to some really complicated chemical reaction that I am not about to try to understand, the mineral ends up with a light rose colored tint rather than the typical light blue. Unfortunately, I am not able to make it show up in the photos, but it looks fantastic. I have two of the three crystals I sent back, and it has been a MAJOR improvement for both of them. It's like I'm a noob again, because I keep catching myself staring into the dials. So, what do you think? Thanks to the late, great, Greg Moore for the background.
  17. Mine usually go through NY, but for some reason they have been going through Chicago lately. I have no idea why.
  18. Not that I can recall. I know a few forum members from that area and can't remember any of them having a problem. Also, I did a quick search on another forum and did not see anything major.
  19. First, I'm not talking about selling reps. I am referring to general goods that would typically be found on eBay. Mostly, I try to use Craig's List and sell locally 1st. Also, there are several free classified website available on the new, which can be found via Google. I have tried usfreeads.com twice, one sold and one didn't. Unfortunately, most of these sites are for US based transactions. I also belong to some other forums, which are not watch related, that allow sales of items that do not pertain to the topic of the forum. D4M and I go back and forth all the time about adding a section like this to RWC or even RWI (sorry if that is unacceptable). I am for it, he is not. If these options fail, I will then post my item on eBay, but I hate doing it.
  20. I use alternate methods to sell my stuff now that they have added the end value fees. Not only do they hit you for the listing, and Paypal in most cases, but I think it
  21. Here are some rough pics of K's AR on my Navi. Please forgive the quality of the pics; I just pressed it in and couldn't wait to show it off. I'll get the light tent out tomorrow and do it right! Keep in mind that this was taken on my kitchen table, with a 5 bulb fixture directly overhead, and the camera set on auto, which used the flash. Still no reflection.
  22. The only real problem with it is the length of the crown. It's just a tad too long.
