i buy only straps with an overall thickness of 3,5 - 3,8 mm.
for some strap styles is a custom-order necessary.
the thickness of the lug-end ( around the steel-tube ) should not be more than 1,5 - 1,7 mm.
then you have a very good distance to the pam case.

with my pvd coating company i had never this problem.
requirement is, all parts are separate and disassembled.
my company has a lot of experiences with pvd / dlc coatings for watches.

hi explorer sul,
my watchmaker did renew complete the illuminating material on the sandwhich dial and hands.
i think he used a bit too much on the backside of the hands, so that is what you see at the edges of the hands.
but you can see it only with a macro lens or with an 10x eye-magnifier.
it's only a very small beauty spot.

Yes, some kind of... all my Pam`s have a very low quality hand`s and probably as it seems I am not the only one who has this "problem". High quality rep hand`s for Pam are almost not possible to find
But your watch is super, only yes, hand set...
-
haahaha........ did you make an expedition ?????
rolli
Nice work and nice watchOnly as usually, PAM rep handset is BS
Take a close look.... edges are harsh + lume left overs are visible, and how is overall hand quality... not good.
Why can`t they make hand set for PAM with better quality control?

Rolli,Is your watchmaker willing to take on other 111h's for the CG and finishing procedures? And I know its rude to ask cost, but how much did they set you back....

it's the best of your dial project.
a 201A logo dial with a bit more dark ivory and it will find a place in my pam 201A.
compliment for your projects

buy an upgrade membership and you can read all topics and posts about pvd coating and pvd pams.
rolli
thanks for the reply...if you don't mind me asking then, what are the PVD watches on say, WatchEden coated in? -
for this kind of price you cannot buy a pam195.
the pvd coating is very expensive.
noboday can give away the 195 for nothing.

are you blind ??
see the numerals, they are totally different.
rolli
so i got this image from josh's page:how does this known rep compare to the one i posted? its marker on the 9 o'clock position looks okay too
my eyes are still not acute enough...
-
gen..
the marker on the 9 o'clock position has the right length and position.
cartel has different numerals and davidsen has a wrong marker.

no i don't need them.
if it was necessary my watchmaker produced some longer screws for my pams.
i've seen this screws on ebay and maybe it could help.
