  1. Neil please count me in as long as pricing is ok.
  2. and this one looks like kitchen scales great watches....
  3. Saw an article about this in the paper this morning and really like it! I guess it's a marmite watch - either love it or hate it. Please take a look... Link RRP is
  4. @ Pug - sorry that didn't answer my question which is why I posted. I'm interested in the PP Nautilus and plain AP Royal Oak not the Offshore with 7750.
  5. Neil - any chance of an update on availability and price on the RO Jumbo and Nautilus Jumbo? Also whether any gaps have appeared in your list yet? Cheers James
  6. Neil - I'm interested in the Nautilus Jumbo, no power reserve and/or the RO Jumbo, not offshore or chrono. Same as Leo's mail-order bride picked up last week ;-) Ta
  7. If anyone's up for some Sunday eve laughs please head over to TRC where Leonado is back and once again accusing TTK of crimes against humanity. Rather than reporting Neil to the EU court of human rights please help ruin his ridiculous, deluded crusade and put this schoolboy back to the classroom from where he came!
  8. Neil - more than likely in for a PP Nautilus if you can get them. Look forward to hearing whether you can next week. Cheers, James
  9. Could anyone confirm whether the PP Nautilus Jumbo that watchmaster posted on TRC is available from this source and could be part of the GB? http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...c=26653&hl= JG
  10. I suggest we postpone and book a new date for March, there's been enough drop outs already.... I'll create a new post in a couple of days with March dates. JG
  11. I'm thinking maybe we should postpone this too... there's been a fair few drop-outs. Opinions from others who planned to attend on the 16th?? James
  12. JTB - my apologies, I did notice that my comment was indeed misdirected. But it was 2am, I was very drunk and on the verge of passing out so could not be bothered to edit my post! JG
  13. @ JTB - always lowering the tone LOL @ Krsone - I own a 3 month old Davidsen 111h and love it (except a the minor dial flaws) I think in terms build quality there will be no difference between his 177 and 111. The difference comes in taste; personally I feel that the Ti 177 is more of a casual watch that should always sit on a brown strap whereas the polished steel 111h can happily be casual on brown distressed yet equally formal on a black strap. It all depends on what you want the watch to be! JG
  14. Hmm need to have a think about this... You mentioned you're in London from early afternoon too - where in London will you be then? Or would you prefer to park outside London all day and then get tube in? And you'll be driving down from Notts? M1 then A1(M)?
  15. Ok, can we have comments on start time? I was assuming that most would come straight from work so 6 would be ok.... but if a later start is more convenient please say so... Don't want to be drinking on my own for a couple of hours before anyone turns up!!
  16. Depends on who's paying? Personal or claiming on business expenses? and do you have sat nav?
  17. The new supposedly 'perfect' dial is still in the making... He's probably very busy with his titanium projects so the 111h dial has taken a back seat for a while. Sit tight and it will be out in due course. If you want to keep a closer eye on Davidsen's work take a look at RWI as he posts there more frequently than anywhere else... I have his current 111h with the slightly dodgy font and am waiting for a dial swap. It's really not that bad but once you've read hundreds of posts saying how flawed it is you start to feel it's a big problem!! JG
  18. Personally I find Clarkson quite amusing, as long as you don't take him too seriously. I always turn to his car review and column in the Sunday Times first. Then straight to another pain in the ass - Winners Dinners Clarkson mentioned in his column over the summer that he was going to get a B&R to replace his SMP. Obviously Bond fever took over and he went for the PO. Or maybe he got both - could certainly afford it! Pretty sure James May was wearing an Ingenieur and I think Hamster was sporting a Tag chrono of some type. JG
  19. Almost certainly.... to get a real ALS for 200 bucks would be deal of the century! It's difficult to say much about the watch from that crappy blurry picture but you can clearly see the tourbillon bars(?) that adorn many of the cheap nasty copies I've seen in Bangkok. But in general; cheap looking photo = cheap crappy fake. Definately suggest you report it to *bay and be thankful that you didn't get stung like this guy! MBW Royal Oak Welcome to this forum - if you want good value, high quality replicas of very desirable watches then spend some time reading up, asking sensible questions and get ready to lighten your wallet
  20. Ok people... I've decided on a venue deep in the heart of watch land, within spitting distance of New Bond St! This pub was chosen for a couple of reasons: 1. It's off the beaten track of tourists and shoppers so we should get some space once the office/workers crowd clears out at about 6.30. 2. It's close to Oxford Circus and Bond St tubes which gives good access to most major rail terminals. Date: Friday 16th Feb Time: from 6pm... Location: Pitcher & Piano, 10 Pollen Street, Mayair, London W1S 1NQ Map Entrance to the pub is on Pollen Street which is a small cobbled street running between Hanover St and Maddox St. I suggest a few of us swap mobile numbers by PM before the event just in case people get lost, can't make it, etc. I'll wait until next Monday to see how many people confirm attendance before booking a table. Cheers! James
  21. Welcome from another (ex)Londoner! Check my post re. the London Get-together and come along if you can. JG
  22. Hi all Yes apologies again, I have been slack. Lets close the poll and go for the 16th.... I will choose a venue over the weekend and book a couple of tables and post the details next week. Could all those who plan to attend please post here so I get a firm idea of numbers. JG
