  1. Welcome from me too! I agree with Ken - the SMP Chrono looks great. Check a few reviews and most of the more seasoned members around here think it's 99% accurate! I guess (correct me if I'm wrong) that most of then main dealers here have the same model. JG
  2. Fair point... You've picked a good time to leave Thailand. Plenty of rain, gail force winds. etc. Lovely British autumn
  3. @ TTK - you say you're heading home to Scotland to pick up some gens. Surely it's cheaper to buy them from an AD in Thailand? Or is that just a misconception I have living from living in the UK where everything's so damn expensive! JG
  4. That is indeed a very nice 212 azgjav! please could you tell us where you got it?? JG
  5. Oh no it's started! Any Rangers round here to back me up?!! Although still stand by what I said - glad you're not a scouser! JG
  6. I was waiting for one of those comments! At least (I hope) you're not a liverpool fan
  7. Thanks for the welcome chaps. JG
  8. Hi all at RWG After 3 months of lurking in the shadows reading and digesting thousands of posts think I'm ready to strike out and say hi! (and just come into a bit of cash so I can add to my collection ) So, my rep experience so far... 1. PAM005 Unitas - purchased from a guy called applewave on a UK auction site called cqout.co.uk - anybody ever heard of this guy? The rep is very high quality; I was impressed so ordered number 2.... 2. Cartier Santos 100 SS Unitas - not quite as good as the PAM, some of the lugs were not drilled properly so you cannot remove the pins. But still not too bad.... -- then I discovered these forums! -- 3. PAM127 - bought for a friend from PT. Great watch and great transaction. 4. PAM212 Asia 7750 - purchased from a member on this board. In my opinion a bad experience - the pictures described a perfect watch but when it arrived the 3 chrono subdial would not reset to 0, only to 1. I complained but was told " bad luck"!! Oh well, I'll put it down to experience. Anyway I've learned a lot from surfing these pages in the past few months so I'm really looking forward to making some great new additions to my collection. Currently waiting for PT's new batch of Omegas to arrive then I'll take a moonwatch off him straight away!! Hopefully I can contribute to these boards in some way and will do all I can to avoid... - asking who has the best sub! - picking a fight with TTK! And now I'm drooling over TTKs new Railmaster - absolutely beautiful but that 49mm case is just way too big! James
  9. I'm a noob here and desperately want to add a moonwatch to my collection! For those of you in the UK, PT tells me he has some on the way soon JG
