Made it work. Either the pins were too thick or the holes too small; either way, corrected the depressed button problem that wouldn;t pop back up with a bit of watch-movement oil. Viola! Thanks again.

Cool! The one I treated well over a year & a half ago is still also running strong--mind you this only gets wrist time about 4 or 5 days months:

All enamels are water-proof. It's merely a matter of personal choice--some people prefer white, others a very light grey, some mix the two together. Go check out a gen & see which you prefer. Definitely do not remove the existing paint, just follow the directions in the tutorial.

Never really paid much attention to my photobucket stats, until now... I still get almost 100 views a day on each pic in my Sub & DSSD tutorials between multiple boards, which I think is fantastic. I also knew my reviews & tutorials were popular, some averaging hits in the hundreds per day. But by sheer coincidence, on the exact same day I changed my avatar & signature, the hits on my reviews go through the roof! What are the chances?!

Forgive my noob-esque question, but I'm a stranger in a strange land with IWCs--how exactly does one (properly) remove the band from this case. Is the metal dot underneath the band near the case-back a release-button of sorts, or do you simply push the pins out from the sides of the lugs? not looking to destroy this piece. Thanks in advance.

I'm certainly not going to tear this beauty apart until it starts acting up. I've never seen a modified 7750 movement sweep this smoothly. Damn it...now I'm getting curious to see...
