  1. I did have a G9, but that case is for the Leica I used to snap the pics with.
  2. Ciao. Anyone members in Italy? I'm trying to have someone send me a copy of April's Duemila Arts & Culture Magazine but they'll only mail it to an Italian address. Looking for someone in Italy to help me out so I can have it mailed to you. Will compensate you for mailing it to the US. Grazie. Thank in advance.
  3. Thanks. Yes, I just queried "camera bag insert" on ebay & bought this one. That's correct--the $600 11-16 Tokina is a bit slower than it's $2K Nikon counterpart, but it's actually a clearer picture. There's also a Nikon 50mm f1.4, and a Sigma 28mm f1.8. I've also added a new Leica DLUX 5, and a 1936 Leica II D to this too.
  4. Well...Mississauga as "Toronto"...
  5. My word as a gentleman; that bag is near two years old & is well traveled. There are scuffs on the surface but hard to get on film--also on the hard-plastic parts (wheels, floor-rests, etc), but absolutely nothing major, no wrinkles, no dents. etc.
  6. After posting the last review I just did for Ken, I completely forgot I promised him almost two years ago I'd post one of a Louis Vuitton suitcase I'd purchased from him. I'd say this review is long overdue (which it is), but in all truthfulness after two years worth of travel on this particular piece of luggage perhaps this will go to show exactly how well-made these pieces actually are. At least 6-7 trips to Toronto, two to the UK, one to Paris, Atlanta, Charlotte, NY, LA, and countless other spots around the US--this things really seen some miles and still looks almost brand-new. I found this was the perfect pattern for hiding little scuffs & scratches the throwers (baggage-handlers) tend to put on your luggage--hardly anything is noticeable. This specific Damier suitcase (like a good number of other LV suitcases) comes with a built-in garment bag with hangers, saving you the trouble of having to buy a separate garment bag. Straps in quite nicely too. Have a look for yourself: I find the regular Damier pattern of LV, seen above (compared to the Damier Azure or Damier Graphite), is the hardest to replicate. Too many manufacturers make the mistake of making the gold too yellow-ocher or the brown too sienna. It's also damn hard to shoot & get correct tones from pic to pic depending on white-balance & surrounding light, etc, but this is spot-on to my girl's gen Damier wallet. A damn nice, piece if I might say so. If you're looking to get this, you can write Ken over @ Bergie's: http://www.rwgforum.com/forum/127-bergies/ Enjoy!
  7. *camera-bag...damn typos... Hello again! A few weeks ago I found a piece I wanted online but questioned the quality/reliability of the supplier, so I sent Ken (over @ Bergie's) a message asking if he could source a better one for me. In a few hours he had sent back pictures & pricing & I decided to snap it up. About a week or so ago, I received my new bag (I added a camera-bag insert from eBay in order to turn this particular piece of LV luggage into a proper camera-bag). The color is spot-on to the gen, the stitching is even & beautiful, and the details from the hardware to the engravings on the locks & whatnot are all top-notch. Money quite well-spent, in my opinion, but feel free to judge for yourself. Here's the new Louis Vuitton Damier Graphite Roadster: Bergies's goods can be found here: http://www.rwgforum.com/forum/127-bergies/ Trust me--the merchandise & service are fantastic--I've bought a slew of Zegna & Armani shirts, suits, luggage, purses for my girl, etc. I've never been disappointed. Enjoy!
  8. Nice. Been out of the loop for a while--what's this Spinmaster's site/contact info?
  9. Long time, no buy. Just PMed you with a quick question.

    Cheers,

    Gio

  10. Anyone experienced one of these yet?: http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?ma...badd9fda497c2d1 http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?ma...badd9fda497c2d1 Franken or not, I'm a real fan of the black & red one. To the point: is this done with one of the more reliable GMT movements, and if so how is the paint on the bezel-insert? Looks sloppy in the pic but photos can be deceiving. Pics greatly appreciated.
  11. feel free to check 'em out: foxharvard.1x.com
  12. Girl's good. Thanks for asking, all. Since it's been a while, did any of the supposed higher-jeweled 7750 Daytonas wind up lasting longer than the previous ones?
  13. Wow--that 1st pic is fantastic.
  14. Do they all still look alike?
  15. Long time, no see. How goes it? So, not following the trade much over the last year, what's new & exciting--what should I be buying: the 100% accurate DSSD V17 or the new Daytona with the perfected movement? Do tell...
  16. Follow redwatch's link--that should show you the right stuff. The other stuff is my current girlfriend.
