Davidsen DSN, sells a good looking version of the Blancpain fifty fathoms FF28 and im really thinking of buying one to relic and make it look its proper age. does anyone know what movement came in the genuine FF28? Also, is the 41mm case size the proper size? does anyone know if BP ever made a FF that came in a jumbo 47 to 54mm case? The reason i ask is, i thought i saw a post a while back that looked like a fifty fathoms that looked the size of a Big Egi..........I have to concede that what i may have seen was a tiny arm man wearing the regular 41mm BP FF28 but my mind remembers it as a huge 47 to 54mm case sized watch. I still absolutely love the 41mm sized FF28. I think it will make a great project watch. Here is the link to the watch at DSN's page- () If anyone has an example of this or any of the other FF's please post some pics.........Cheers, Wan

may i ask, is that the AP Don Ramon DE La Cruz? or is it another? I reayy like the Don Ramon de la cruz special edition, with its brown dial against the gold case.. If yours is one it makes me really want to get one now, and if its not this special edition Don RAMON de la cruz then i must know the name or model of this watch you have cuz this one i like just as much as the Don Ramon and will be happy to get either in my collection.....Thanks, Wan

I think the Radiation may be the reason for all the problems, but i doubt it. (Just don't lick the paint brush and you will be alright) The watches look beautiful!! Regards, Wan

These watches the 23A, and 63 are going to come with an eta 2836 movement only...........No eta 2893-2.............damn, but the watches will be $360 which i wish it had a 2893-2 for that price? Also, where is the pam29A? It seems to make sence to have that as well. W

I love both but as a bit of advice, for some reason the 928's seem to be more ragged out as used cars as ive had one that was a real money pit and so has a friend. If i were you i would go for the other. Cheers, Wan

Great work my friend, you can put me down for a few. Cheers, Wan

Has anyone reported the watch as a replica to Ebay yet so the for sale ad will be pulled down? I think someone should. W

Wow, great lug shaping so far!!! What case did you start with?

I just got the exact watch a few days ago, it only took 3 days from china to the USA which is the fastest so far.. I may do the same thing to mine if i dont sell it? I may have to do a catch and release due to another watch i have to have but if i keep it i am definately doing those mods, it really makes the watch humm........Very nice!! wan

watch looks nice compared to the gen. The only thing i could see "which would not bother me at all" is the diffrence in the minute hands. I think i might have to get me one. An HKTan strap will do a world of good in gen alligator to make it pop even more. He made me a great strap for my santos 100 chrono that really made a big diffrence. Thanks for the post..............Cheers, W

I have a OEM titanium handwind crown for a 44mm and i am looking for a polished Stainless steel automaic crown for a 44mm. Is there anyone out there who is willing to do a even trade, crown for crown? My titanium crown is a newer one, not one of the old stock you see selling on ebay time to time. So, if you have a OEM stainless steel auto crown in polished finish and you need a handwind oem titanium please PM me. Thanks, Wan

Anyone have any info on the Watchmaster or Watchmister preV case ses?
wan replied to wan's topic in The Panerai Area
Has anyone ever seen a Watchmaster made 44mm preV case..............I do know he modded and or made some very nice 47mm cases and Radiomir vintage cases but if anyone knows anyhing about a 44mm preV case set he made "possibly a very short run of them" I would love to know if anyone has ever had one and could possibly show a pic or a link to a pic? Any info would be fantastic!! Thanks agan, Wan -
Wow, im really intrested in the Omega with the sword hands....Are those correct to the watch? Which model Omega had sword hands like the milsub Rolex? Do the gen Omega sword hands look ust like the milsub sword hands? Just curious are those MKII sword hands on the watch or another because they look nice? Thanks, Wan

Just source yourself a accurate bezel insert for this model watch, its the one with dashes all the way around the bezel insert, with numbers at 10-20-30-40-50. Try looking at the MMKII web site and i believe they carry the correct bezel insert. The insert alone will improve the watch greatly. I will post a pic of my finally completed milsub for you to see in a minute so o can see where you could take it? Cheers, Wan

If i can not get used to this new format, please let me know how i can go back to the other RWG look? Thanks, Wan p.s. I may end up fine with the new system but if not, i would love to know how to get back to my comfort zone. Cheers

Hello, i have a pam127 1950 and i want to change out the crystal on the watch. How can i remove the crystal from the bezel without hurting the bezel? You see its a Eddie Lee watch and i need the bezel to remain with this watch but i have a better crystal. If anyone can give me a tutorial on how to take the old crystal out and put the new crystal in it would be fantastic!!! Thanks, Wan

Here is a link to see a Angelus 8-day weather station and clock. Can someone take a look and tell me if it holds the correct Angelus sf240 movement in it we are all looking for? In the link there is no pic of the movement itself, just pics of the outside of the clock/weatherstation. It looks like the winder is at 6 oclock but without seeing the movement, i cant tell if its the right one....Anyone? http://www.specialistauctions.com/auctiond....php?id=1267758
