  1. The Zigmeister did the mod. He's testing until Friday then will ship it to me. When I got the pic last night I couldn't stop myself from posting, I was so excited by his work. Teasing myself more than anyone else. Can't wait to get the watch back!!
  2. yummy gen crystal! Thx for showing. Any chance you could take a front pic showing a direct shot of the dial and case?
  3. Whoops! yup should be .06 and .07.. Going to buy new calipers and new glasses. brb
  4. First I took my calipers and measured the inside lug width of BK's TW case. Then I measured the end links of TC's bracelet. Then just to be sure I measured it suspended by the calipers. My calipers were zero'd before each measurement. My calipers were reading the TW case lugs at 20.7 mm on both ends. My calipers were reading the end links of the TC V2 bracelet at 20.6 mm on both ends. My calipers suck and I need to invest in a nice one... Hope this helps.
  5. I'll measure in a bit and post pics.
  6. Here is the V2 bracelet that TC has. I'm not going to say much except please excuse the cheese on the watch as I've worn it non stop since receiving it from BK and please excuse my funky fingers as I've been playing with air-dry clay and markers for hours with my kid and no matter how many times I wash them they won't seem to get clean.. Oh and the bracelet is pretty damn nice. Notes: * TC seems longer than the TW bracelet. I removed three links and micro adjusted one spot on the TW. I removed three links and had to micro adjust 2 spots on the TC for the same fit for my 7" wrist. * End links are tight to the case, but not tight enough. Macro pics don't help, but on the wrist it is not too shabby. * Engravings are crisp and nice. * Every screw was threaded nicely and screwed in and out perfectly. (Yes I tried every one of them) * Clasp is probably one of the nicest I've ever handled and the flip lock works smoothly just like on my gen bracelets. * Diver's extension works flawlessly by depressing the "o" and disengaging the hook. Otherwise it stays put. * Didn't I write I wasn't going to say much? Thanks for looking and hope this helps for those looking for a good 93250 with hollow links.
  7. LOL "chinglish" TC are his initials and his name is nothing close to an Asian name. This shocked me because his words in his posts had me thinking he was Asian. But now I'm stereotyping and haters might accuse me of racism so I'll stop. btw I'm Asian and my chinglish sucks.
  8. Hahaha nah man who knows maybe he's got pit bulls and a shotgun? haha jk I can respect his privacy and my curiosity is focused on watches and not some dude named TC. Will do on the pics man! I was planning on mounting it to my new BK LV. Funny thing is, BK ships from a location 40 minutes from me and his package arrived the very next day after he gave me tracking info.
  9. Neither. Just the V2 bracelet. I don't know him or trust him enough to send more than $43. $43 bucks is easier to lose than $400. I'm glad to see a member got his case set though. Puts me at a little more ease. If I don't get the bracelet Monday, should I drive over there? LOL
  10. I have a tracking number but no activity. USPS was supposed to pick up my package for shipment from TC on the 8th. He is shipping from a location that is a 20 minute drive from me. It should have been here by now. If it is not here by Monday (assuming he shipped on or around the 8th) then something is wrong.
  11. I need to go to K-Mart for some underwear. K-Mart. yeah.. K-Mart for underwear..
  12. thanks guys! i'm not much of a "modern" rolex fan but this is changing my taste
  13. 16710 has sapphire crystal 16750 has acrylic crystal Maybe you were thinking 16700? this one also has sapphire crystal but is a GMT-Master not a GMT-Master II. How the heck I manage to remember these numbers even I don't know... I can't even remember my cell number sometimes.. hope this is helping in some way CT.
  14. Nice bright day today, perfect chance to get out and snap a few pictures of my new BK 16610LV. Thanks B! And thanks for looking!
  15. 16750 you might be able to use Josh's 1655 case since it uses the acrylic crystals and not the sapphire. As soon as I'm able to buy a gen 295-c I'll try it on a newer ExpII case I have. You might be able to add lug holes to the case via JMB or pbdad?
  16. Can anyone tell me where I can buy an 80's style round 3 open 6 & 9 date wheel overlay? I desperately need 2 and can not seem to find any. TIA for any help
  17. I just got this from Sead this morning. I'm very impressed with it! Sead was great and delivery was super fast. I am no Omega expert, so please tell me what you see that needs changing. Let me know the order of urgency also. I bought this as a long term side project to do while I wait for other projects to bloom. Thanks!
  18. As I continue to collect parts for an Explorer II project, I had Sead source me a cream dialed rep. I was hoping that the dial would be good enough to use, but for me to continue with this one would take some work. The "swiss made" is the first that would have to be changed to "swiss t<25." Then the lume surrounds would have to be changed to silver. But I love the color, so I've got to really think about if I will use a gen t<25 dial I have or have a pro mod this one. The interesting discovery was that the case is gen construction. I was expecting a wok fest and was going to use only the dial. But I may go the other way and use the case but not the dial. Also, this case has an engraved rehaut and it lines up perfectly at 9, 12, and 3. Too bad it will be sanded off in a bit. Anyways, just thought I'd share this little discovery of an old case that has correctly lined up rehaut engraving and gen construction. Sead has told me he can get this with any color dial (black or white). Pretty cool. Check it out.
