Yuki is the only one that can hold the gen date disc and accept gen hands. A3135 has different diameter of the datedisc and might not accept gen hands, some people had gen hands installed on the A3135 without problems and some people could not do it. So its a bit of a shot in the dark with the A3135. If you choose Y3135 you will need to have it atleast serviced upon arrival. You need to have a few gen parts installed aswell in order to make the movement reliable.

Well done mate! Im a caprenter myself and i can see that you know what you are doing. Actually i have a thought in the back of my head to build myself a watchbox but the lack of time is always a fact. But one day i will build one. Im thinking something like a aged pirates trasure chest in walnut or teak wood combined with ash wood that holds 6 watches.

Hello, Im a longtime lurker and i have owned/own a few gens, reps, high end frankens and genkens. Funny thing is that my hobby started with reps and it lead me to the gen watches. But nothing beats a good franken in my oppinion. Everyone can save some cash and go buy a gen. But it takes passion and knowledge to pull off a well made franken watch and that is worth more than a simple gen. My interest to this hobby and watches in general has grown to that point that im actually considering quitting my job and start to educate myself through a 3 year long watchmakerschool. Its still just a thought but i have been in contact with the school so lets see where that leads. Anyway i think its time for me to start being more active and contribute to the forum. Cheers
