  1. It sure looks like an Omega seamaster from the 50's
  2. Im not so familiar with .bz but its not a scam site from what iwe heard.
  3. Inspiring work. Well done! Skickat från min iPhone med Tapatalk
  4. Looks great! Would love to see Domi in action [emoji1] may i ask where that pearl comes from?
  5. What a beauty! If i were you id just keep it. Its a piece of rep history and a very enjoyable piece. Just set a price that you are comfortable with and if there are no takers it might be because the price is to high and just drop it until it sells or you decide to keep it.
  6. The reason for the high value on the flat 4 insert is because the insert is discountinued and very sought after by collectors as the true 50's anniversary mk1 y-serial 16610LV had the flat 4 while the rest (mk2-8 with an exception for mk3) used the pointed 4 insert. So without the flat 4 insert i dont think that the watch will sell at $1,200. Just to give you an perspective on what the TC's use to go for id say a regular stock TC 16610LN v6 can be had for $600~ and a 16610LN v6 franken with gen crown, tube, insert and crystal is about $1,200-$1,500. I bought a 16610LN v3 a year ago with gen insert and gen crown for $450. Im not saying that $1,200 is the right or wrong figure, just that it would look like profiteering to me compared to what it actually is. But it all comes down to what people are willing to pay in the end.
  7. The TC v3 isnt that spectacular compared to the later versions. The v3 has the tiny lady ETA 2678 wich can be had for about $50 preowned. In my oppinion the real value here is that gen flat 4 LV insert which is worth around $1000 in good condition. Id say $1200 is reasonable with the right buyer that is.
  8. Thats the way to go [emoji1] but either way you should consider investing in a service of the movement.
  9. No problem. It could just be the angle of the picture. Hope the watch serves you well [emoji106]
  10. The only thing to complain about would be the date not being centered in the date window. Cant remember if all of them are that way?
  11. Looks ok to me by that picture. Got any more?
  12. SEL or 501b would be correct for your dial. If you opt for 501b endlinks you need the 93150 with the strange midlink on the endpiece that looks like this
  13. Well aftermarket crystals tend to be gen spec so i dont think there is much other choice. Or you can enjoy the watch for what it is.
  14. Buy a new watch/case that is gen spec
  15. There is only one modder called Domi
  16. If you are stuck, hit Domi over at RG an email he can make the movement ring that you need.
  17. Depending on how nit picking you are. Id say v6 is good enough. But if i would buy one id grab the v7.
  18. Long time ago i ordered a new watch from any TD. But from what i remember they usually dont do promotions. If you want a Hulk go for v7
  19. Isnt the point of firearms to protect your home? The extra insurance could be worth it if something would happen. For me its not worth it.
  20. Not sure but i think "Vietnam" case is tonnywatches? Maby im wrong but something tells me that the supply of unshaped cases are from Vietnam and then guys like Minh, phong and tonnywatches are grinding them down to supposed to be gen spec midcases.
