Problem with TD/Vendor...Suggestions? Am I crazy?
whoever replied to watchaddict's topic in General Discussion
Jorgepa, send it back, normally there is no problem. It sucks because it takes time, but as you see here in your thread, your seller seems to be quite present. Had the same experience with another dealer, took 4 weeks all in all, but since then the watch works fine -
they are all popular because they are also used for a business reason. It's very hard to tell if the classic chinese names are for men or women, so people thought it'll be much easier to use, and it makes them easier to get identified by their customers. i never forget the first time i went to Hong Kong and everybody had his little insigna on his Jacket: Jack, Ken, Linda, Mandy whatsoever.....

i had two weeks from Spain to France!! but it arrived.....

I thought this deserves a proper thread......but I insist that I'm not linked to the site.....just stumbled over it as I dig in further in my interest in these blancpain watches..... Just enjoyed the pics! http://www.watchdeco.com/Welcome.html Cheers

uuuuuh look what i just found! BEWARE!!!! TONS OF PICS!! http://www.watchdeco.com/Welcome.html tons of infos!

i didn't know there were versions without this nuclear thing, i think i'd like that!! Any idea where to source one? Thanks for your opinions gents!
-
yeah, thing is, i always wondered if the shining bezel of the Blancpain was really as shiny as it seems. I'm afraid it'll be too much black blink but i'm not sure. On the other hand, i can't keep my eyes form it....it's like a Entrecôte Rossini in your plate..... The 063GMT on the other hand is in my opinion a better 088, since there is no subdial i always cried about because you really have to focus to see something move.....i love the big second hands of the 63. Second point is the size, i have incredibly small wrists, even if i eat all the time, and the 44m are way at the limit i can wear....

<p>I had the chrono version, a great watch, but unfortunately i had a bad rep!! It fell apart in 48 hours, but the time it didn't, it was a real stunner. wear it well!

Happy Birthday !

haha, i went to the shaving forum to have a look, and i thought: "why the heck are these weirdos have a forum about shaving???" and then i realized that 80percent of the rest of humanity thinks probably the same thing about us...... anyway, i discovered the luxury of going to a barber shop once a month or sth....it isn't that expensive, and i swear, when you're with a real pro, you won't shave alone EVER again, or trim your beard..... This is an incredible feeling!

Have members wants from this hobby changed.. ? Or is it me?
whoever replied to PeteM's topic in The Panerai Area
Hi there, as a noob, and furthermore a noob who is unable to do any moods, i'd like to give in my thought, i believe you're talking about guys like me..... I joined this forum a year ago, with absolute NO experience in watches, no idea, even if i always had one, i didn't even know that a watch could cost more than 1K $ or £ or whatever. So i joined, bought a cheap rep, two and three and four etc, and my interest is growing every day, but i think you never stop learning, and i know i'm not the one who is very talented with his hands, so i prefer to let some others do the modds. Maybe one day i'll get myself a screwdriver and push my limits further, but i was already amazed to be able to change a strap by myself....with a pocket knife..... Anyway, i think nevertheless, this forum opened a door for a real passion, something i'm happy to discover every evening after work or before or anytime i can. A year ago i would never ever have thought about spending more than 100$ in a rep, and now i'm thinking about getting one around 300$....because i learned all the details, i learned to see what i bought, and what i would like to change now.... Last but not least, this hobby, and i can imagine everybody knows that, is one freaking expensive hobby.....and i guess there are a few guys like me who struggle to end their months with their underpaid jobs (even if i loooove my job)....so sometimes i can be quite frustrating to read some posts or comments, that cheap reps sucks, or that people do no modds, or that they don't go what you call franken... so give us some time, counting in years..... -
well, depends if you have 1000 dollar more to spend or not..... love this watch too....stunner! good taste mate!

Why I love chronographs...add your favorites as well
whoever replied to Watchmeister's topic in General Discussion
these are two great chronos calavatra!! I was always tempted by the seagull....but unfortunately too much gold for me.... here are two more recent watches, Junghans, i had them on my wrist on my last transfer at the airport, and they are simply stunning! I think to remember they are 42mm, and extremely elegant! Sells around 1400 euro....
