  1. The cat has to feature somewhere!!!
  2. Remember that the new ebay rules state no seller is allowed to accept, or solicit payment via Cash, or Wire Transfer. Although this may only affect UK-based seller! Again, it's difficult to give a good answer without knowing more. If you send a money order or a cheque and it turns out to be a scam, you have no way to get your money back. Unless you really, really want the item and can't live without it.. pass on it. You made an error by not noticing the "No PayPal" policy, so you should explain that to the seller, and tell him that you will agree to complete the mutual agreement not to complete transaction, so that he can claim back his selling fees.
  3. That's if the person selling that is the same person who sold the previous items. It's quite possible you are viewing a listing on a hacked account. Without knowing the item number, or ebay members name and previous history, it's not possible to answer your question with any confidence. Generally, I would be wary of sellers who only want wire payments or the like.
  4. haha.. those are some funny clips!!
  5. RayBan Aviator!
  6. There can be any number of reasons for the delay... It's not a fortune, so don't sweat it.. wait to see what his reply is
  7. Firstly, I don't have any pics, so you guys will need to take my word for it After wearing (and enjoying) my new YM for a few weeks I noticed it was running slightly fast. About +18 secs per day. Reading through the forum I saw that this was well within acceptable levels, and I agreed! However, this provided the perfect reason to get more into this new hobby.. So I did some searching on altering the time on mechanical watches and found that it's called "regulating".. Ok!.. So after some very helpful posts and pic descriptions I had some idea of how to do it.. First task was to get the caseback off.. I tried the masking tape ball, but that didn't work.. So after some further searching I discovered rubber might work (knew those rubber gloves in the cupboard would come in handy one day! ).. The rubber glove worked a treat, and I witnessed my first ever movement in action.. very tiny, and very complex looking First thing I discovered was that the smallest screwdriver I found was way too big.. Back to the forum for some more tips on sizes.. 1 helpful post later, and I was on my way (ordering some precision screwdrivers).. Anyway.. this post is getting long winded now, so I'll get to the point. The new screwdriver worked perfectly and I turned the little screw next to the +/- on the movement. It was 18 secs, so I turned it a few notches and then re-assembled, and set to the exact time. That was 24 hours ago, so I remeasured against the GMT online clock... Perhaps I was lucky, but after 24 hours I am now 0.5 seconds slow... I'm loving this hobby!! Now I need to get even more reps to regulate, and mess around with! Have a good weekend, fellow RWG'ers
  8. No, you'll have to take the pic from Josh as the only view. What I will say is that the pics on his website are pretty dark. The gold colouring looks much brighter in real life. btw Is this a "fantasy" rep?.. I can't even find a pic of a genuine version of this online anywhere! Does anyone have any pics or links to the gen verion????
  9. haha.. I'm sure the polis wid just luv to catch ye wi wan o they stabbers, they'd luv the craftsmanship and wid tell ye so thru the bars o the jiyl...
  10. Each to their own opinion, I guess If someone want's an OTT Rolex Gold Daytona, then I say "Go For It!"... I love my :- http://perfect-clones.com/rldf10001-gold-d...de1-p-1119.html I always wear the EL SS Yachtmaster, but that Josh Daytona is a beautiful part of my little collection... Having never seen a gen solid full gold Daytona (and I suspect most won't have), It's hard to say what the obvious fake giveaway is
  11. I got that very watch from Josh.. It's a beauty. Tacky, but what the hell Obviously the Asian 7750 isn't the best movement in the world, but it's acceptable, if you can't - or wont - pay the extra for the swiss chrono.. The pics on his website don't do it justice!
  12. Like all operating merchants, there must be a genuine attempt to look into complaints, and unhappy customers should be taken care of. Accepting PayPal payment for counterfeit goods is illegal, and everyone of the dealers takes a chance with every sale they make. However, I suspect our dealers are resourceful enough to be able to recover from a PayPal account suspension... Do I agree that a PayPal complaint should lead to a permanent ban?.. No, because it's quite simple for any banned user to sign up again under a different name. Do I think the dealers should never sell another watch to someone who screws them over through PayPal.. We don't need to answer that as the dealers will be well aware of the people who they will never deal with again. The thing about this topic is that there are two sides to every story...
  13. I'm trying to regulate my ETA 2836, but the screwdriver I thought was small enough is massive!! What size should I be looking for? I found this auction on ebay with some smaller ones.. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=290038525238 Would any of these do.. or are they too large / too small? Please help a clueless newbie!!!
  14. LOL.. I was just about to post that very link!!
  15. Do any dealers have the rep yet?
  16. There's only one Henrik Larsson (thank f***)
  17. Very good result for Celtic I watched and enjoyed the game. Benfica were awful.
  18. Whats wrong with RWG?
  19. Yes.. Ramachandran is very good. It's unusual for a neuroscientist to be endowed with charisma.. and the ability to describe the innermost workings of the brain in terms that the layman can understand ! You'll need to retrain your limbic system and get back to decoding this survey, rather than lazily experiencing the dopamine surge from fiddling about with that rambo watch! Get Back to work!
  20. Way to go.. RWG has it's own Dr Sacks!... Or are you more of a Ramachandran
