My first sales job. Volvo C70 had a major issue the previous year(first year...1998), in fact an entire recall. I do believe they managed to resolve the issues. My lab director owned one prior to being hit about 4 months ago in which the car was totaled. He owned it since 2001 as a pre-owned vehicle and never had any major mechanical trouble....A/C was replaced and asthetics were in need of replacements here and there(the convertable top and the dashboard clips). These things can add-up quickly. Other than that, he loved it and if the car was fixable he would still be in it. BTW it was competely destroyed by a new 5-Series and he walked away!! Hope this helps.....

That truely is an awesome watch! How much difference is there in the swiss movement version? I mean as far as mods go? No work on the swiss or just as much?

If you aren't comparing it side by side, it may pass. There is a certain depth in color that is different...almost a pewter tone in the white gold vs. stainless and it wears/scratches differently. Most people can't tell anyway.

Personal experience: I purchased a Yachtmaster from them about 2 1/2yrs ago for $1300.00!!!! I am pretty sure it was drop shipped from admin is NY. AKA Eddie Lee???? Anyway, they delivered as promised. The watch is supposed to have a real platinum bezel insert(never verified) and an ETA movement. The watch runs flawlessly. BTW it's for sale!!! I would say just buy fom our dealers here and pick-up a new flat panel T.V. or Tele with the money you save!!!!

The co-axial ??? AKA aqua terra??? It's the plain looking date-justy type. I am ordering the UPO, but wanted another watch as well. I thought the co-axial looked very clean and simple, but wasn't sure about flaws. I feared the see-through case would be a window to the rep world showing off the non OEM movement, so I seek advise and/or experience with this model. I am colorblind and rely on you guys when I read about dial colors and such being off shades. Any direction would be great. I read the reviews that by-tor and other members put together before I post these questions. Seriously, if by-tor wrote a review on a Swatch, we would all be digging in our trunks of years ago to sport the 80's timepieces once again!!!

I was looking at some swiss SEAMASTER CO-AXIAL watches and wondered how accurate they were. I tried to compare the pics to the GEN site, but could not tell with all of the different angles and lighting. See-through caseback give away anything? Dial colors? Any help would be appreciated!!!! THAT'S AWESOME!!! Thanks guys!!! I have been unusually obsessed with these watches lately. At first, I thought they were too big...then I thought,"Who in the heck is Panerai??"......then I thought,"... maybe I should get one ) I went ahead and ordered my first one from davidsen today! His watches appear to be some of the best I've seen. 055 with white dial and 2 straps(brown & black) CAN'T WAIT!!!! I bought my first reps in 2000 to compare to the gens I collected at the time and see if I was just wasting money on the gens. I paid way too much knowing what I know now. I even did it again in 2004 on a perfectswiss.com eta yachtmaster. Funny thing is, I don't even where it anymore...it sits in a drawer. I did sell the two remaining two eta submariner bodies to someone here working on a mod project. I got an agreement with my boss (aka wife) that I can collect starting with 3 by the end of this quarter. So, the 055 wins the number one spot. I am thinking Breitling SO for second and the Omega UPO for third.

Thanks!!! I was wondering....I know as a former Gen Rolex owner, you could order from a variety of dial colors at one time. I just don't want to invest in an upgraded Panerai rep only to find that it doesn't actually exist in the real world... Ex: White dial on the 055 titanium?

I was wondering if Panerai dial colors are model specific??? In the Gen world, can you get your favorite model with whatever color dial??? I know there are some of you that can answer this.....
