wow that gen came out amazing! what did you have to do about the movement issue?

I just received a reply from ingod just a few days ago after I emailed him a month ago! he did say he had stock

there is NO pointed 4 fonts in the gen 1655 world... A flat top 4 bezel from phong ETC. is a must have on this watch

OK guys thanks for the info ! I was under the impression that unless the correct tool is used the pusher tube can be damaged and unusable, but I know you guys have installed pushers before,so I'll use your advice

Hello gentleman, I mostly post over at rg and rwi, but I know there's more Daytona experts over here, Avitt,Akira, lhooq ,ubi are you around? Lol I am planning on modding a cartel 6263 like akira has done, I have all the tools required but missing the pusher tube tool, does anyone know which one of these is the correct one? looks great but you need to upgrade the bezel to a phong or ndt with the flat 4

ok this should help, this is actually gen spec 700 crown and tube , phong made these with the 3 dots which is incorrect, should have NO dots, but he will argue that fact, the tube will fit the crown, you will have to install the tube and then actually drill out the center of the tube so the crown will fit inside, the gen is like this also

I had a eta last year with the exact same problem, I tried everything , cutting the stem,changing the stem, changing hands, checked the keyless , in the end I just changed out the movement

I would just shave the inside of the bezel a bit , I wouldnt use a dremel though , I would use emery cloth or sandpaper, its not a big deal

you may have to sand down the inside of the bezel a bit, as the rolex t-21 is a hair wider than the crystal DW uses

I just asked him about this auction, the case is aftermarket, and the movt is a v72 with added bridges, the rest is gen

I have dealt with DW for years and built many daytonas , the only alternatives are a genuine bezel, or go jewelryandwatch he has nice stuff, actually his products are way better than DW's ,but the prices go up, you get what you pay for, there cases require no mods to drop a v72 in, unlike DW's ,where you have to grind the crap out of the case to get the v72 to fit, I don't think you can get just the bezel insert on the old daytonas, I just always found nice used gen's, shear time on ebay usually has them from time to time, but be prepared to pay, if you are that much of a perfectionist, you're gonna have to go gen parts , I'm afraid .........

I use a large jar with coins and place the case inside and shake the s&*@t out of it!

I just asked DW last night about the mystery movement , and this was his reply: "for the vj23 movement I can get parts . they is not genuine valjoux 23 But it's 100% same valjoux 23 " so I guess a v23 will be a direct fit

Hi all, have two daytonas that need help! a 116520 w/ seconds at 6, the 9 subdial is creeping when the stopwatch is off,and a 6263 daytona that the upper push button does nothing any advice please.......Thanks Guys!
