  1. Today I'm wearing my MOAW. 6152/1
  2. Yeah, I saw that pic too. Can't you get a PVD fiddy from Davidson already? I think so.
  3. Wow, you have the coolest watches!
  4. For price, pics, info. Check the dealer section.
  5. That looks sweet! Nice combo.
  6. I'm down for one.
  7. I just got back from Vegas wearing my 6152/1 and it's going to be on me for a little bit longer. I've caught a lot of people eyeballing this beast. No comments yet plus I wouldn't know what to say if someone did. I went to the MAGIC show and I saw a lot of people wearing big watches! Not very good watches but those big fashion watches and some big cheap bling type of watches. It made me feel better wearing such a big watch. Sort of like the norm and not looking like a freak with such a big watch on (I have a small wrist). LOL!
  8. I did the bag of coin trick initially. It's really tough to scratch up the case like that. It would take hours and hours. I thought of sand but dust will get in between the case and crystal. I think steal beads would do the trick or maybe BB's would work. But I wouldn't do it with the crystal attached. It just might break.
  9. BUMP ^ for update
  10. What the heck. I decided on sandpaper.
  11. I did some work on the case with a coin. I want to do some scratches but not to the point that it's a brushed look. Maybe I should goto the park and grab some sand? Any tips?
  12. Yeah, PM me the recipe. I tried to PM you but I get an error page. Thanks.
  13. Got my baby in. Finally. Strap Culture Antique Nut-Brown Calf w/ Beige Stitch. It is superb! Although I didn't get if from Epoch (RWI) he can get them for 20% off retail. Mine was 15% off from SC sale ad on the "risti" site. Okay, enough of me talking I'll let the pictures speak. Wrist shot... 6.75 inches. It looks big on me but I don't care I love this watch. And that's the way it should be. ------------------------OLD POST BELOW---------------------------- A little sumthin sumthin for now till I get my strap in.
  14. OMG! It's people like this that's gonna ruin our hobby. Don't go crying to Paypal! Just don't!
  15. I think this is his most current dial. 111H and 177H.
  16. The mainspring was tangled. It's a common thing with the Asian 6497. Will the problem continue??? I don't know but I've read that people don't have any problems after this solution. Here's some good read on the issue: http://www.rwg.cc/members/Movement-Review-...ems-t12765.html
  17. Try slapping the watch on your palm and see if that works.
  18. Here's a pic of a GEN.
  19. Flat topping: you just file the pointy tip down. The GENs are like that. I used a finger nail file to file it down then buffed it out. Put the file flat on the table hold the cannon pin upside down with tweezers and run it over the file. Do the same for buffing. So the 036 crown fits? WOW! I read that it did not fit cuz of the tube. Now I gotta get one for mine. Thanks for the info!
  20. Oh, the horror! You forgot to flat top the cannon pinion! Very nice work. Those watches looks so good. Did you use C1 lume? Can you give more info on the crown? I want to replace mine ASAP. Thanks.
  21. baltic, Was the dial smoked? The watch looks great! Cups up to Finepics!
