I got it back with a baggy containing a broken wheel. It started right up when I shook it, but after wearing it for 3 hours I noticed it had stopped. I haven't worn it since. Sorry, I can't be more help.
Thanks NW, I've always wanted a Lemania but all the watches they came in were too small for my big wrists. I've also wanted a white dialed watch, but could never grow to love the PAM113, so this is an amazing combo for me.
I'll keep you posted about its reliability.
I would like some strap suggestions for this beauty.
I was hoping the stock strap wouldn't be a total POS, and it isn't but it's too short for my 8in wrist
I would like to keep it classy. Maybe a croc or good leather for deployant and has to be XL.
Thoughts?
Here are some more photos:
What a beautiful movement it has.
And a nice profile. Not to tall, not to slim
Nice engravings, too
Nice recessed subdials and good lume application
It's a very classy watch.
It's not that she would be mad that I've bought yet another watch, it's that she'd try to steal it because it's so freakin gorgeous!
I think I'll keep it at work.
Please don't tell her.
Go slow!
As said, use a dial protector. You can cut a slot in a business card if you don't have one.
Try not to touch the hands with your fingers or metal tweezers, use Rodico if you have it. I use a Post-it note when reassembling. I stick the bottom of the hands to it. That way I have something to hold onto when pressing the hands back.
Good luck and keep us posted
