I would try to keep it's original shape.If glued it can still be removed pretty easy if needed by removing the bezel.Sometimes you
even have to do this with gens.
If serviced I would think that if you have a 703 crown that pushers would be changed to screw downs. I always thought that in order
to be called a oyster it had to be a screw down pusher.
I have a bridge coming from Cousins for the conversion and will be on the lookout for a 7753. If it doesn't work
on the Daytona I might just order a generic case and dial.Perhaps we can come up with a top movement ring for tabs.
My original plan was to go with a V72 movement but between the price of the movement and service I was thinking a new
7753 would be a little cheaper and rock solid.It will be a little while until I get the movement so just exploring options.Next on
my list is gen spring bars and crown and tube.Thanks again Chiman.
Update, I have installed a J&K tropic 21, Cleaned up the rust a bit and have added Clark pushers. In the last pic the Clark
pusher is on the left and the DW on the right to compare the difference.
