  1. Yeah, why not. Lets make this a really fantastic one and at the end of the day, I will alwyas be wondering about the Dw font if I get the 7750 movement with ETA DW. Getting the gen movement and DW will solve this. Now, please pray that the crystal will fit as well! Thanks Asim, you have been a great help.
  2. Thanks. the difference is that the Swiss 7750 is about $450 and a gen IWC movement is about $750 with the gen DWs. I will wait for the news on the crown and if I can get that, will go with the gen movement! Again, many thanks for your help! Whichever you get, I am sure it will be a nice watch as most IWCs are great! Just remember to post pics!
  3. Just a suggestion. Why not get a nice 5001! That is one of my favourite IWC. I am trying hard to save moner for the anthracite dial! The way things are going, it will probably be a while! Can you do me a big favor. the second pic of the gen Dw is really good. Any chance you can take a pic of yours with the ETA DW with the same Date? Really want to know how much is the difference and if it is worth the extra $300 or so! Thanks!
  4. wow, bro. How many can you buy? Any chance of me sending you a pm. I am serious.
  5. Would you be able to show some comparison pics?Would really be grateful. BTW, since you work at an AD, any chance of a good price for IWC watches at staff price?
  6. In that case, I apologize. I really thought it is not available anymore!
  7. if that's the case, then this is an easy decision! Thanks!
  8. I do agree with you. Is the gen and ETA DW font very similar? Bro, I am also "amazed" when I see my cc bills every month!
  9. The Bracelet cost SGD2000! Will consider a gen deployant or Tang buckle though!
  10. OK. So my gen parts have arrived. The dial, hands and crystal. Now there is also a gen IWC 3717 movement on sale here with gen IWC Day/Date wheel. Should I get it as well to make the ultimate franken or just get the normal Swiss 7750 and ETA Day Date wheel which is of course cheaper. Please, some advise on this would really be appreciated. I would really like to go all the way. I know, I know, a used gen would probably cost not much more but then where's the fun right? So please advice? Thanks! Really excited by this! I may also be able to get the gen crown as well
  11. I keep hearing about good deals on Timezone but I never see them! probably because I am here too much
  12. Really have to agree with ST4 on this. From your posts, I would recommend you not get a Pam. Really. If you are lookng for a good one, a lot of modding will be required. As for dealers, well no offence to anyone of them but they all dropship except maybe Eurotimez but he charges higher for his QC. I have bought from DSN before and the transactions and watches are all good. At thje end of the day, everyone has their own favourite dealer. Finally, I think the 104 is no longer available. May be wrong.
  13. It's your birthday Simon? Happy Birthday!
  14. Two very nice franken UPOs! I must say this is really one of the best reps available for modding!
  15. That's very true. Nowadays, ADs are more willing to give discounts. A Deep Sea Dweller which used to sell at a premium is now only at list price and discounts will also be given. I have a friend in the pre-owned watch business. He was just telling me he has 2 BPs on stock. First time its happened to him. Normally, these would sell once they arrive. The prices you mention though are really attractive. These are in the US? BP for $8k. wow, thats a good price.
  16. From what I know, a few brands, Panerai, Rolex and to a lesser extent Patek Phillipe can command these "premium" prices. these are mainly for like Limited edition or even base models for Pams which are always non-existent in display as they get sold as soon as they arrive! Same thing for Subs, Daytonas for rolex. That's how its is from where I come from.
  17. Very nice wristshots Lani! You really got to stop the reviews for a while bro! They always make me want to buy one! I have been able to resist your last few reviews like on the UN and Bell and Ross but I think I am going to get this. Awesome watch!
  18. The Hublot Big Bang Foudroyante Senna is a automatic split-seconds chronograph movement using a new complication, the Foudroyante, to allow the calculation of one-eighth of a second. Nice but really how do you expect them to rep this? The Bullet Bang more realistic If this is true, that would be great. Been a ManU fan for ages. The thing I would really love to see them changed is really some minor details. For such an expensive rep, they should really engraved the rotor, and changed the saw-tooth rotor to a smooth rotor and also have a regulator!
  19. Wow. Thanks! Really detailed recommendations. I find myself really attracted to the BCE with the slate grey dial. The dial just makes it really classy for a chrono. Hey, this is great too. How is the size for a 7" wrist? Also in terms of accuaracy to gen, how does it compare to other Breitling Reps. Does the Big Date feature work properly? Good idea. A Big Date. Never tried before.
  20. My wrist is about 7". 43mm is a good size. My watches are 42mm and above. Thanks! Will go find out more.
  21. So the BCE and Steelfish. Sorry but what does BCE stand for? By-tor the Steelfish looks good on your wrist. How big are your wrists and the watch?
  22. Thanks! My wrists are also about 7". But wow, that is a huge watch! Looks good on your wrist though. It is a looker thats for sure!
  23. Beautiful pics! I am really getting to like the Breitlings more and more especially with bracelet. BTW Jay, how big are your wrists? Just want to see how big these Breitlings wear? Also, how big are these?
