Oh I think there are quite a lot that wear gen watches....e.g.: - Sly allways wears Panerai - Arnold Schwarzenegger normally wears AP - Jason Staham wears Panerai - Ari Gold wears AP ..... The list can be longer. I think it depends on the movie you got to play in, the budget or director. If you are free to choose a watch..wow. If you are allowed to wear your own...why not. If you are told to wear that special watch...you do it, you are just an actor! Anyway, there are several forae that deal only with "watches in movies". Cool. Theo

Aha....bloody Statham....he is a Pannie lover, but in this movie he is sporting a rosegold Audemars Piguet Team Alinghi....QUARTZ version...ahhhh, they show a rep in a socalled Blockbuster??!! Yes, it is a rep as can be seen in other pics in the movie, subdial spacing is quarz, subdials show fantasy dimensions (should be regatta style with 45 minutes counter!). So they used the only excisting rep of this watch, a 128$ rep from Canal street. Even porn stars wear gen watches...why can´t they give him a gen 2.000$ watch when they cannot afford the 45.000$ piece. Cheers Theo

Well, I own the ss version of the T3....very nice watch but I cannot tell about the Titanium version....Ti version has got new screws for the pusher protectors (now cross-head screw). Anyway, the crystal of the T3 is all wrong, the gen is domed and has a loop/lense effect witch makes it look fake, wheras the rep T3 has a flat crystal witcvh looks way better (design-wise) but is far away from gen! The Las Vegas is very nicely done, the black coating is wonderful and the red accents are stunning and make the watch look mean/eval! I sold it around a year ago. Only real flaw with the LV is the deployant, outer part should be black and the folding part should be ss as the rep is all black. My Las Vegas The MASATO....never owned it, never saw a gen.....but I´d love to buy it as it looks cool with that new-design dial. Theo

Congrats to your choice...I like the 5711 blue dial as well and did order one last week. This is the new blue dial, will change color on differnt lightning/angle. Thx for the VC compare pics... Theo

Arrrgh, everybody already got the watch....I am still waiting for mine, paid 4 weeks ago, gota track No. that is unknown to the chinese post office, but my dealer assured me several times "its been sent already". Well, as I trust my dealer, I fear the package got stuck in customs agin like so many times before, hope the sender did do what I told/suggested him to avoid custom problems! Dear all, I just got the QC pics of my ordered NAUTILUS 5711 new version. As I am not familiar with PP I want to ask for your help. This is supposed to be the new version 5711 with blue dial and better movement SW200 and upgraded rotor and date/datefont/datewindow/position. Please help me in telling me if this is legit....do the pics show the new version? I thought the gold rotor has the calatrava rose raised/put on the rotor....in the pic it looks ingraved. I the PP print on the dial too weak, not white enough??? Please help me quick, need to answer my dealer.... Thx, Theo

Very nice combo, the upgraded dial is awesome, the strap gives it even more appearance. If you are going for the NAVY, think twice about that. The NAVY is a nice rep but it has a white dial that is far away from the gen white color. I had the rep and compared it to the gen...was not allowed to take compare pics (for a good reason) but I can assure you that the gen NAVY dial color is pure and bright white, whereas the rep is just plain white..... I have heared no news for this topic. My dealer is in the same position like we are, factory names a release date but cannot fullfil, so the dealers are better off NOT telling any dates as long as it is not in their hands. What keeps me hooked is the fact that this DIVER will be awesome, excellent and stunning in regards of quality and craftmanship....my $$$ are parked for this baby anyway! Ok OK.....I just send my dealer a new request to exchange my previous order "grey dial 5711" into a blue dial 5711 with ss bracelet and strap. Hope they have a chance to do the swap as I would rather like this version. Theo

As this is the only available steel version of the 5711 I opted for bracelet. But anyway, you can get an additional leather strap for this baby for just some bucks more. Thats what I did to have all possible options (but I ordered the grey version....platinum and strap only as gen!) Cheers, Theo

I have been in contact with Angus sporadically over the last 6 days....he was attact by a virus over the weekend and was busy with resolving this problem (he slept only 3 hours on Sunday). But decide for yourself....I had the payment information, I was quoted a price, I paid! Today I got the confirmation and was announced some QC pics in the next days. Cheers Theo

The standard strap will not fit....but here is the deal: order the watch with a different strap e.g. SINGAPORE GP and sell it when you get it....order a XL sized rubber strap with APBAnds straps....here you go! Theo

I would not care too much about "too fast/too slow" as these are no COSC watches anyway (and thiose are inbetween +/- 5sec/d). The bezelscrews are superb with the Chronopassion, the Silver Themes looks great as well....both watches look fine to me. Theo
