  1. Ask your dealer you bought the watch from...he might be able to help. Theo
  2. Cheers all, today, 5 years ago I entered this forum....from all the forea there are, this is my home-base and I love to log in daily to read all the news posted over the night. I consider myself a WIS.....so don´t ask me anything beside watches Cheers for the next 5 years....thanx T. for having me Theo
  3. Sorry guys, I have to ask. Is this Bently GMT a rep???????? Please excuse my ignorance as I am only familiar with AP´s for the last years. Cheers Theo
  4. Wowza....and what a nice strap you got there....congrats. Mine is still on its way to my door. Theo
  5. That hurts....but every first ding hurts....on the other hand it will show the love to your watch. Anyway, if you really want to, you have to ask every dealer if he sells AP parts as spares....I don´t know any who does allthough I am a very good customer when it comes to AP. Theo
  6. Oh wow....what a stunning piece. Hopefully mine will show up this week. Wear it well.... Theo
  7. OK...need to be more quick with seasons 3-6.....still wrapped in the drawer. Theo
  8. Thx mate....I owned 3 EoD´s to that time and wanted to see how a complete black ROO would look like...today I would exchange the bezel screws as well. Cheers Theo
  9. Me like.....but still too small for my wrist. I´d love to see the Chrono version of it...44mm is more to my liking Theo
  10. YES...the caseback is the best part of it...............NOT The limitation No is placed wrong, sized wrong and the engraving is done different....further more they did XXXX/1500 .... but the gen only comes in 500 units But at least the rep-factory heard all the voices bagging for a bigger production unit hahahaha Theo
  11. .....so maybe this was just a design-gimmick for the SIHH (SURVIVOR=military tool=combat/rifle-style) but never made it to production. We will never know and I am not sure if the AP CEO I spoke to had no clue or was not allowed to tell Theo
  12. ....3 years ago I had been invited by AP and OP to the SIHH in Geneva to see the new releases. So I had the chance to finger the watch and drool on it for some time. As I asked for these dots on one of the sides I got only a smile as answer Those people I know with a gen SURVIVOR (2 collectors) don´t have those dots or they are gone or they never noticed. This was my knowledge todate.....but teach me wrong, .... cheers Theo
  13. Some answers: - the red/green dots are ONLY on one side of the case....noone knows what they are there for - the rep-hornback sucks indeed....APBands is a very good choice, me SURVIVOR above sports a Simona strap with integrated plots covered in croc leather...veeery nice but also veeery expensive - there is a special thread here showing all possible AP strap options from 3rd party suppliers...also some rep-straps are nice quality Theo
  14. I got it on rubber and added a black croc-strap from a 3rd Party supplier. The SURVIVOR looks completely different ona a croc.... Theo
  15. The factories will deffo release a ZERO after the 005.....would be silly not to do. Theo
  16. FINALLY...the wait is over. I allready placed my order with my dealer and I will do a full review with pics when I receive the watch. First impression....looks great (beside two minor flaws...non-polished edges and caseback engraving too bold) and I love the look of sandblasted Titanium. Brushed Titanium (at least the Ti AP´s) have a nearly equal look to ss....only the feel is different! Sandblasted Titanium has a darker, wilder and rougher look. So IMHO this AP ROO is the first to have a very different look compaired to all the other ss-models! I have a dark-grey croc strap waiting for her to arrive...this will kick ... Theo
  17. I can imagine myself buying a ss version of this watch. Niiice Theo
  18. WOW...cool pics. Many congrats on that purchase and welcome to AP. Theo
  19. QUESTION....will Turtel ever get rid of his Jacob&Co bling-bling pieces? Theo
  20. Yes....allthough it is the hunt and search for parts to get a project started that is the icing on the cake....once done we should keep it to remind us for amount of work and money that we spent. Theo
  21. Great pieces and good choice.....waitingtime is the hardest part. Good that Toro got throuh. We need a pic of the complete AP-family please Theo
  22. WOW....I think this color-combo rocks....like the finish of the case and dial very much. Congrats to this beauty. Theo
  23. Now that these new 005´s show up.....how about the 000? Please forgive me for that question but I am soo far away from the rep-PAM business at the moment. Theo
