  1. Thanks for the compliments.

At this moment I’m not working on watches at all.

The problem is that I have underestimated the total amount of time these projects take.

It’s not really the time to build them but it’s the communication time (email) which causes a lot of extra work.

Also shipping these beauties is becoming more and more stressful. I never ever lost one package but there is always a first one.

Although I’m not responsible for shipping risks, I would feel terrible if one got lost. So every time I get an email that the watch didn’t arrive yet, I have a sleepless night.

(talking about very hard to find products and a lot of money!)

    Sorry guy’s!

OhOh....I really do know what you are talking ´bout. Every package I sent out with watches or watchparts makes me feel like praying for delivery (allthough never ever saw any problems).

  2. Waiting for a piece to be released never saves money, makes no difference really, you just get tired of waiting and buy something else!! :)

Maciek my man....this is the "art of rep-purchase"...only spend your money on pieces you really WANT.

So at the moment I only want 3 pieces....a DIVER, a CHRONOPASSION and a GRAND PRIX.

Cheers and stay away from the boards you addict :winkiss:

  3. I think there are only 2 options as of now:

    1) Pauls MBW-like RO Jumbo with closed caseback and ETA movement....nice watch....look for member "Rolexfinder" here.

    2) the RO Jumbo from the big dealers here, correct size and all in all quite nicely done (allthough I do not like a glassback to see a crappy movement)....find it on the dealers pages.

Both options are around 350$ .... do a research here, cheers

  4. DISAGREE....I have 16 ROO´s now and I had over 24 of them last year....only 1 of them failed twice (RB2) and that was also after a proper service and graphite treatment and gear-correction, so you´ll never know.

I take the road of "wear-untill-it-dies" and so far I almost never happened to see one of my babies dieing (OK OK, with so many ROO´s at hand I exchange my watches every day and don´t wear a single pice for longer than 2 weeks in a row :D ).

Anyway, why should I get new soles on my new shoes before it´s really necessary?

    Only my 0.02$...cheers mates,

  5. Congrats to that purchase....very nice piece you will get.

I don´t think that a relume for the GREY Themes is really necessary as the gen has only weak lume (dark grey lume does not glow like white!)....and for the service....use the watch as is and have it serviced when the watch makes any problems, your model will probably have the added jewel for the seconds gear and the watch might last years before any service will be needed.

    Cheers

  6. There is no decent version of the ROC...all excisting watches are too big in diameter (42mm and should be 39mm instead).

I had the PARIS Boutique edition that is kind of fantasy but nonetheless quiet nice looking...grey/black dial with rubber strap....but also 42mm.

Maybe we will see a nice ROC this year as there was much demand for it in the past....but what do I know.
