  1. I onced agreed with a member on RG on a nice watch for a good price.

Paid him via Paypal and gave him my personal details.

Hours later he refunded with the note

"Sold the watch to somebody else. Sorry"

I'm sure he got a better offer afterwards.

He lied about it later on to the mods though, posted my personal details in the open forum too.

I called him a [censored] in the sales thread and got banned for a couple of weeks from RG

[censored] happens....he is still selling over there though

It's all in the game yo ;)

  2. Wow! I've been looking for these! One of my SSD clasps is kaputt because one of these is broken. I did not even know how they're called.

Thanks for the link! Do you know if there's a source in Europe?

    Val.

I'm in EU too, but haven't found them yet.

I'll let you know if I find them, please you do the same ;)

  3. Hello mates,

I've purchased this 7205 and have some questions you might be able to answer.

The bracelet has a lot of stretch and is pretty danged up....I love it :)

The rivet is stamped 7205 which indicates it was issued somewhat in the 60's

The clasp isn't correct for a 7205 and is stamped "D" which indicates 1979 issue.

What clasp is it? It's 13mm wide while the DW 78350 claps is 15mm.

One pin is not SS, where can I get this replacement pin?

The endlinks are marked "60" which don't fit my DW V1 6263 but according to some websites

    it should fit the 6239.

My question is, where can I find fitting endlinks for a reasonable price. I don't care if aftermarket, they just have

to fit the bracelet and my 6263.

Moreover has anyone a 7205 clasp he would like to sell to me? :)

    Your help is much appreciated

    Cheers

    Akira

  4. Haha, sorry, just attempting to point out the merits of the DG3804 we both used. 1.) Slow(er) beat 2.) Correct hand stack for 1675 3.) Decent out of the box DW (in some versions) 4.) Fits Cartel and GEN cases with little modification. 6.) Stock DW aligns with GEN dial. 5.) There really is no such thing as a GMT "Swiss" 2836 they are all Asian mash-ups, so save your money.

    +1

I can only agree....the stock Cartel 1655 DG is pretty decent, I just broke it and therefore had to buy a new one from Cousins.

7.) you can make the gen hands fit the movement :yeah:
