  1. Not a pro so can't answer but you could always flip the dial if it don't fit and recoup your cost and more.
  2. The 312L does not have a chrono hand so you can bet that the 7750 on it won't breakdown. So buy it with aplomb.
  3. ^^^ The screw must be in steel that you put on your 292? Did you blacken it by any chance? If yes, can you tell us how?
  4. Thanks for the heads up.....I have a 328L too which I believe has an identical movement on a 312 and wanted (at some point later) to get a ETA 7750 for it..... However what is the modification on an Asian7750 that has been done to fit into a 312/328?
  5. So how did the replacement lugs from Panatime fit your 288k? Could you please confirm if both the lugs and the lug screws from Panatime are a perfect fit on the 288k or not. Thanks
  6. Sorry but I am not understanding this. Do the lug screws go and screw into the inner case and that since the inner case becomes lose, the screws too come lose?
  7. That's a beautiful shot...Thanks for uploading it here. My 328 too has a similarly recessed DW...I am glad the gen's recessed too....
  8. 288k and 292k are both fantastic reps out of the box.
  9. Yeah the AR'd cyclops is a step ahead but the dial is just too bad. It looks like it's flat green. I am not sure why is this the case as there are much better dials, I've seen on existing LV reps. Anyhow this is the first AR'd version so I am hoping the next one could possibly come with dial/bezel fix.....
  10. That just sucks man....I hope you can fix this soon....Good luck with that.... Which dealer did you buy it from?
  11. If you are not going to use the GMT function, it's an easy pick - 328.... I am going to pick up one too.....
  12. This is simply stunning.....even though I am not a fan of dials with stick markers, this one is jumping out right at me....The color of the dial and the sunburst effect is just great....
  13. Any idea if it's possible to replace the stock movement with a Swiss 6497 without any modifications? I would really like to buy a 292k for long term and would like to get one with no movement issues.
  14. Puretime is offering a $60 upgrade on a polished ceramic 292 case that will fix CP and get superlumed hands and dial. Is this upgrade worth the price? Does this CP fix bring it any closer to being a GEN?
  15. I have seen a few frankens with gen crystals and gen insert. Even with these mods the cost should be around $1000. Now the dilemma is to choose between a 1k franken or a 2k gen (slightly used but in VGC).
  16. If you are going to wear this watch virtually everyday, DSSD could be a bit too heavy to handle. Stick with your GMT in that case.
  17. That's such a noble thought man.....Well done... The watch looks pristine and I can only imagine what it would look like when it will be revealed to your lucky son, several years from now.....the glistening Rolex will have become 'older' and in this condition it would be such a treat to wear/own such a piece...
  18. Gosh...I don't know what can they do better on an Ultimate 328 rep....This one looks so close to the gen....the slight differences are only visible if you do a side by side comparison......I think I am going to keep my eyes peeled on the sales forum to see if I can get lucky.....
  19. Freddy333 mate...sorry but I am a bit confused...did you AR the outside of the crystal just under the cyclops or did you AR the inside of the crystal under the cyclops?
  20. Great looking GMT there mate.... The AR on the cyclops...is it on both the sides or just under the cyclops....and is there any AR on the crystal too, on either side?
  21. Yes, that's exactly what I've read across various forums. I've also gathered that the best movement for a GMT Rolex is the rather prejudiced 21J. They say it's most reliable with the GMT hand and if it breaks down you just replace it, very cheaply ofcourse. However I've been thinking of the Asian clone with the wrong hand stack but now I am totally confused. I guess I'd just spring for one soon as it's not expensive with either of these two movements.
  22. Cars are not just means of transport
  23. ^^^ Though I am no expert but that watch looks really really good to me...
  24. Great news! 292 has been on my radar for a while....It's time to take a plunge....soon.
  25. Great out of the box thinking. Well it looks good and different however I am trying to imagine what it would like with the DSSD ring in orange.
