Beautiful watch...I guess it's got cannibalized due it's Planet Ocean brother which gets more attention......Very good quality it seems....That pearl is good but it'd be near perfect if it could be 'pushed in'....It's just raising its head too much....

I have seen a lot of V3.5 divers with slightly bent second hand....

I send my AP's to Spinmaster in Singapore for full service. As for screws try Toro.

Something is fishy indeed......I can't understand why any of the TD's offered us this 'new version' despite the fact that all of us have been clamoring for that improved lume on the inner bezel and when such an option existed why was it not made available.

Yeah I saw that thread too.....the OP there even posted his source....who is obviously not a TD at any of the big 4 rep boards.....That's why I am reluctant to buy from him....but yes, the watch is definitely better than the 3.5 that we all have access to.....What I don't understand is that all our TD's say that there is just one factory for the 3.5....then how come this one is different and better than the 3.5.....means there is another factory that's doing a better job? Also Angus @ Puretime said in one of his threads that the factory is not keen on upgrading the inner bezel at the moment coz it has lot of bezels in stock...Maybe later they will he says..... Now if our TD's could get this version it would be great.....Mind you, this is not perfect still coz the zeros on the inner bezel still have bigger gap than the gen...but yes, it's definitely closer to the gen than the 3.5....The inner edges on the zeroes are somewhat squarish (not perfect squares like in the gen) but better than the 3.5.....The bezel is bolder too in this one...like in the gen.

Just got a link to this thread from the dial sale on RG......whoa what a build this one.....this is one of the most beautiful 3714 dials and that custom caseback is a success.

Well when I bought my V3.5 Diver from Toro, I confirmed with him beforehand if I am getting a brand new guaranteed swiss movement. He assured me that I would. Since you are paying over $160 extra for a Swiss ETA over the Asian ETA in a diver, one would expect that they are giving you the real thing.... If any member who bought one with a swiss heart & opened the caseback for whatever reason, could confirm here, it'd be great..thanks

I've seen a few modded pieces across the rep forums but all the modders do is make the lume 'bolder'....none has been able to replicate the gen lume, both in font & thick evenness....

Beautiful indeed...the lume job is terrific....the contrasting ss screws on the bezel look better than if they were black...if only this gets a double ARd crystal this could be the envy of gen AP diver owners.....

Since this is a V2 related thread I thought I'd ask here......I've got a Blue SOH V2 and sadly today the insert got scratched just a little bit....I was wondering if I could replace it with any other insert from another version since V2 is not available......Anyone done that?
