Thanks Ed, the smp is together and going strong! I gave it to my brother and he has worn it every day since .

Awesome 007, Bazz!
Thanks

Thanks MVB,
There seems to be a glut of them posted over the last couple of weeks, but I am just glad to be able to wear it again after a couple of months of looking at it being in bits and pieces.
-
I will be changing between these two.
-
That looks good , it actually looks like the rubber straps on the oris tt1 divers.
-
Love it! nice crown and tube, not sure about the hands though.
-
The insert and pearl are as they came, I have no plans to change them as not sure they would fit and cost waay to much
-
Thanks guys
@ fitmic
I have changed the dial and hands, crown and tube, movement and case clamps. Anyone who has one of these should check the case clamps as mine had two stuck on top of each other per side as they were not long enough. I have heard of others with this model having this problem and one side of my movement came free then had a clamp floating around, I ordered replacements for mine from here Click Me!

I have had some minor issues with the movement that came in this one over last few months, nothing that cant be fixed but decided the least it deserved was new eta 2892.
I have put on a few gen parts on it over the last couple of years and it is still my number 1 (I know some people think the 007 bits on it are a bit naff but I cant help but like this one).

fantastic job! Congrats

This one has been a little while in the making.
It started out as a first gen 111 from EL, since then the case and buckle was sent to palp for a pvd coating, I replaced the canon pinion and hour wheel to the longer ones, I changed the dial to a Davidsen one and added a solid case back from Josh. I have a bigger pvd crown on order from palp and that will of course be changed once it arrives.
I will try and take some better pics when I have time

Ive had some issues with the movement that came in this one over the last few months and finally caved in and bought a new eta 2892 for it! Just got it back together last night

beautiful piece and nice to see it on a strap, I love the PO and cant believe I have not folded on one of these yet.... just a matter of time!
-
I also have one of these, its my favorite rep by far.
Nice box too.

Have been wearing this a lot lately

Outstanding post and review once again
Great comparison and great pics

Nice job would love to have that pearl on mine! its the best case to start a modern sub from
-
This today (no wrist shot sorry!)

My all time fav is my omega 007, the first watch I ever opened and now has a gen dial.
next is my 1665 with lots of oem bits
Followed by the pam 063 with a 2893.

EL's lv has a bolded "m" in 300m and all the second markers are the same width.
Andrew's and Josh's lv have a thick second marker at every 5sec/hr interval without the bold "m".
Even for a rep newbie like me that is a glaring mistake. I can spot that a billion times easier than "rehaut"
Yep all models have differing pos and negs but out of the two archibald asked about I would say ELs is better value. I bought a LV from maria about two years ago and ended up changing pretty much everything bar the case.

As far as the mbw modern subs go I would say save the money and go with EL(better crown, crown guards and dial).... the vintage models are a different story (the gen insert will also need to be trimmed to go on the mbw modern)

You could try turning this screw back towards the - sign. Three mins a day is a bit much I think these are only good for about + or - 30 seconds a day. May have a problem in the balance spring or is perhaps its magnetized.

This and the 187

Great job
Your pics are noticeably improved also

Really, do you have a pic of the movement? I don't doubt you at all just curious if they decorated it the same as the seagull movements. Mine definitely came with the chinese 2892 copy.
