    Happy Birthday ISM!

  3. No pans in my package. My watches from DSN have always arrived packed well, never damaged, no more than 10 working days after shipping from DSN to Australia. David is a straight up guy and you get exactly what he promises.
  4. Try looking at 187G, 6152/1, the 127 and the destro (lefty) 217. All are fab. You may also enjoy some of the Radiomirs in 45 or 47mm case size. Good luck!
  5. Check the 5 in both the 15 and the 45 on the bezel - both are trying to escape! Agree with dropbear re the case - nice!
  6. Nice photo collection! Tan croc, Simona Allegrini and the GS Crazy horse are my faves. The busier the strap, the more it detracts from that fabulous 390 head (IMHO). Wear them all with great pride, mate - thats quite a versatile set of options you have there.
  7. Darn - only a few days left to max my credit card... LOVED nanuq's comic! NASA says no planets align. So I am still planning on waking up on December 22nd.
  8. Some good pricing there - but IMHO thats a fugly BP on their site!
  9. I, too, have one of Toros beginner 111s. Good but not brilliant lume - I would say 80% of the Noob's luminosity (because it gets bright after direct sunlight exposure but doesn't last more than an hour or so...), mine winds smoothly, has a very tight crown lever, good AR, about 30 hours PR on the low beat asian inside which takes only 30 winds from zero to hero), keeps time to within +40 seconds a day (unregulated - just as it arrived) and is worth every penny. Mine has not missed a beat in over 4 months. I say give it a shot. Not a lot of money to worry about, and these are fo sho better than the cheap-ar$ed versions you may be thinking of. JMHO...
  10. I am with battler on this one. And don't give up on 47's - I have a wrist of circa 7 1/4 inches and my DSN 6152 does NOT look like a pie plate. I started with an old 44 GMT, and have gradually made the 47mm 6152/1 my daily wearer. Just sayin... good luck with your search. 187 (a personal fave that I have not yet bought), 243L, 127, 217 - IMHO they are all top reps!
  11. Yep - looking good. And BTW I agree with your signature comment! Enjoy it! ISM
  12. Yep - so many dealers are out of stock. But your pics show that it is worth the wait! Nice one!
