  1. It looks so much better now, Mickey!
  2. What a beauty, dluddy! Me, I had this on since Sunday... On SS bracelet (thanks Richard!) today...
  3. Amen to that... And though my WM9 SD pre-order is my first deal with wi bk, his reputation on here is absolutely first class.
  4. It's posts like andreww's which make me reconsider selling my skyland. Congrats on your acquisition & wear it well dude!
  5. I recently got an new, unused SS pam bracelet from Richard Lawton for interchanging with my various pams. Like what Nanuq has mentioned above, it really depends on personal tastes... As much as I like straps, my line of work & my country's humid weather makes wearing leather straps uncomfortable...
  6. Yup... We all do mate... Thanks for the invaluable info, and thanks to The Zigmeister too!
  7. Does this mean that only the present 196 dials will work with a 7753?
  8. EL? Bloody classic.... "Water-resistance: 50m dash in the rain"
  9. See my 1st sig below...From the one and only ubi...
  10. I'm no movement expert, but I base my comments on The Zigmeister's record on here. He has also mentioned in his previous reply to Francisco that he is basing his review of this particular movement from a watchsmith's point of view, which is what he is. Well, a correctly-serviced movement can and will last beyond 5 years, but one must bear in mind that movements require regular servicing, around once every 3-5 years - this is well-documented, even for eta / swiss ones. I for one, personally advocate the importance of servicing one's watches, especially those which are keepers. Yep!
  11. Wonderful endorsement of this movement from The Zigmeister! It is joy to read that most of the transfer gears present little or no friction at all... Thanks The Zigmeister!
  12. Beautiful...Just simply beautiful, mate... Wear it in great health! And yes, we are indeed extremely lucky to have our local watchmaster...very grateful for that. :notworthy: ....Now let's see some retina-scarring lummies!!!
  13. Beautiful pictures, beautiful event, mate... Congratulations!
  14. Well doc, it certainly does not look too blingy on your wrists... In fact, it looks great!
  15. Wow, is that another gen you've just gotten, lani? just kidding... What a beauty it is, really looks the deal! Any chance of some lume shots?
  16. I believe this is getting out of topic, dude. You initially asked, which Exp II to buy..white or black? Then go on to say that you have bought Andrew's white one...By-Tor then comments that the white ones are ALL inaccurate & that the black noob Exp IIs from bklm1234 are the best in the market at the moment (that is absolute sound advice for people looking for the closest Exp II rep, btw...) So, I then wonder how you could have missed By-Tor's review on the Exp II. And now you state that you can live with the incorrect grey hour markers and that you have also gotten an SD lite from Andrew to test rep waters..Then go on to mention that you have signed up for bklm1234's WM9 SD... Whew...My head is spinning from your posts... I take it that you did read all about the incorrect grey hour markers and Exp IIs...YET, you chose the white dial because you have enough black dial watches. So why even bother asking which Exp II to get when you like the white dial in spite of its inaccuracies and have already purchased one??? Unless of course you're again "testing rep waters"? And please, do not for a split-second assume that I am not a fan of the white dial Exp II. Cheers.
  17. Can't wait for this wonderful event to happen, lani! And I totally agree with what Robbie suggested..Please take shot of ALL your watches before you start selling... The stuff of legends...
  18. I wonder how he could have missed your classic black Exp II review...
  19. Amazing alright... I am just another one of many extremely satisfied customers of The Zigmeister's... and his turnaround time is unbelievably fast! You'll be more than satisfied with your BR02 when it comes back, mate...but of course, I'm only stating the obvious...
