Im sure Kruzer can sort this out he is the resident expert when it comes to Panerai especially the 196.

what i was not sure was did EL have one dial made for both the 7750 and the 7753 movements? I know the difference of the new dials and i know they will not fit due to the date window .

thats what i thought but i was not sure about the 1st generation eddie lee 196.

Can someone please confirm if the first generation of Eddie Lees 196 dials that came with the asian 7750 were interchangeable with the 7753 movement? I always thought that the 7750 dials were different than the 7753 as the date window does not align properly? Thanks bean

Well i have some more genuine parts on thier way in and i was wondering if someone knows how to decifier the pam codes so here is what I know genuine Luminor crown and crown guard still in customer service packaging i do have the codes... but im not sure for what series does someone know how to decifer the below codes? Eddie Lee made a short run of Pam 127 that had the correct case where the movement in put in by removing the sapphire and the bezel the other cases all require the movement to be mounted by removing the case back as this case is just like the gen where it gets pressed into the case by the sapphire and the bezel. Im sure there are some posts where there is much more detail and pictures...

yept i got new hands and a new crown last week...... the final touch is the bezel which will arrive next week..

Thought i would share my latest addition to my 127 project this arrived today in the mail still in the customer service packaging... brand new.... With the bezel in route to cap off this project I cant wait to have it all come together.... unless that is the case is next......

In my never ending quest to have the ultimate grail 127 and after some encounters where i thought i would have some parts low and behold a great friend helped me out and i will forever be grateful.... Just when i thought the parts supply dried up.. this is what arrived at my door this morning... Look for more rare gems coming

I concur those places do carry gen parts from time to time, its all about the hunt. Once you get started you never stop, oh yeah and you lose sleep doing this hobby. I often found having friends in the right places also makes your search alot easier as there are alot of guys on here that have and know where to find gen parts. That being said best of luck with your search they are out there you just have to start hunting. bean

The good news is these are not from my Italy friend and I beleive he has sold the last of his 03 dials to me a while back. This set came from a new contact that actually turned out to be a quite a find along with alot of other interesting items.
