Auction ended early did someone offer a price that is too good to be true? I know there are a list of people looking for a nonalarm 240 so the price will definatnly be up there i was ready to spend 3K on the auction but missed out. I do have 2 alarm one that i will be converting but the holy grail is the nonalarm movement.

I too was watching the auction yesterday and some how got mixed up with the time.. and i always thought the hands were the dead giveaway on the 240 no?

Wow... I am simply amazed by the Angelus that are getting completed, I have some big plans for a 203 that i have started and each and everytime someone posts some great pics it makes me want to have more angelus in my collection. Thanks for the pics and inspiration. bean

Great Topic so would this be consider a Franken Jimmy Fu case, bezel, and sapphire Gen 111 dial plus hands Gen Crown Gen Crown guard Gen case back Swiss movement? ( even thou its a tell ) or if everything was a gen but the case would you call it a Franken or just a gen? bean

well here is what i would do in the mean time i would get a set of hands from Angus, he has the hands for the 7753 and then i woudl take the watch to a watchsmith and have him take care of the date pusher, there is no source for this, it is something that the watchsmith can fix. These projects take alot of patience and often times people give up half way thru due to no patience. Hang in there your almost done.. bean

Nikos, my friend I know you wanted me to get the watch back from Pamfried however this is a HUGE mess and one I personally dont want to get involved with. I have talked with him and there are several issues with the watch and I know you guys were working something out but that is between you and he. I wish you the best of luck with this matter. bean
