I'm mainly a Rolex/tudor guy but I have bought this watch from a local member not knowing too much about it other then it's the latest from the factories. How accurate is the color/print/over all quality of the dial to the original? I know the luminova is crap on this watch but my friend who deals in genuine AP has told me the dial on the original is supposed to be white and this dial is a dead give away due to it's silvery appearance. Like Sam said. check with EBAY and if someone has a diamond bezel assembly chances are they also may have the old bezel/insert lying around not being advertised so just PM those guys and something might pop up.

Maybe the crown guards can be shaped. Not so long ago you HAD to shape crown guards on all the subs to have it looking remotely right yet I have not yet seen someone shape crown guards on a DSSD or BP/NOOB sub. I wonder why this is? are they not shapeable?

Horrible lume application. Besides that you have bad printing on the dial, bad hour marker surroundings (too thick) hands are off, rehaut engravings is always a quick tell and so on.

Just don't change it to often or you may find yourself with a worn bezel ring that may come loose over time

I would PM Your supplier/dealer who sold it to you and ask for the part or ask what they used specifically.

Unfortunately yes. Some people go owning these reps never noticing and some notice those issues immediately. Chances are your the only one who will notice it's ever so slightly right or left justified. Maybe a pic would help also to judge how bad it is. It could be bad enough were you want it fixed or it could be so little it's not worth the risk of tearing it apart.

If you can find an MBW strap that would do you well or a gen. If I were in your shoes and I couldn't find a good substitute you could always go a holes case route and get you a new Italian 2 piece strap for a fair price.

So a gen dial would not work? how about a 9411 conversion as right now its a 94010 or 7016 not so tuned on tudor

Out of curiosity would this case be good for a 1680 build?

I believe the only watches using the v2 are the subs stated with the v2 all others are using v1 and have incorrect bracelets (date just) and explorer doesn't use a 3135 but who knows I could be wrong

I mainly tinker with ETA based rolex reps so I would love to have something that would be geared for rolex. here is a list of the stuff I would like to have. crystal press (dont know who makes a good one) bergeon case back tool swiss quality screw driver set good lenses to see special lighting. bezel knife If you guys can think of some really good stuff for me let me know!
