Most likely the date change mechanism got damaged. Unfortunately you have to repair the watch and the top of the movement has to come apart to set it back up. Contact mymanmatt, he should be able to get you going again and he is conus
Ya. But this isn't my first 116613 from BP and the last one came out fine. I'm just upset because in the QC pics the dial is blue but I promise you who ever was handling the watch new it was very purple and didn't bother to do the right thing and notify me. I would have gladly got a black one instead.
Also all new ceramic subs have maxi hands and markers where as the 16613 dial has smaller rings. I'm with sneed on this one. It's not to difficult to have the markers removed and replaced. Anyways look at this. In one room the dial is blue and walk into another room and THIS.
Just received a BP sub last night but I'm very sad to say the dial is as purple as Barney's ass!! So here's my idea. I have emailed both Tc and bk and both have 16613 dials. What would you guys think if I were to remove the old markers on the 16613 and convert it to a 116613 dial. Would this work out or would there be discrepancies! The 116613 is so nice minus this little set back!
Go to watchinternational@gmail.com and ask for the N-fac V2 it's 338.00 I believe and you will save some money. If you want to go all out buy a v2 n-factory and a BP with the 2813 (should be like 150 bucks or so) and combine all of the best parts together and you will have a real nice watch. Someone did this and the results were amazing.
Don't age a gen insert that's new ever ever! Just fade a cheapy in case it doesn't come out right you didn't ruin a part that you worked so hard to get. I love the faded look so ill just buy a pack of 3-5 inserts and age them all differently so you can see which looks best for you. Trust me I know how the vintage bug is. It lives inside me and is dormant ATM but I know it's gonna unleash one day! Beautiful watch and please share with us how your fading turned out and how you got it to be.
