Also those watches are too new to not have their box and papers. If he is selling those watches too cheap with out box and papers I would call those serial numbers in to the local police to check if they are stolen. You don't want to get caught up buying stolen goods! I have boughten gen Rolex watches at ridiculous prices and the police will run a nation wide check for free. Just be careful and let us know!

Keep in mind guys what I pay for gen parts isn't necessarily what you guys are paying. I'm in the epicenter of Rolex and lots of people who have access to genuine parts. I can build the yachtmaster with all gen parts mentioned in the ball park of 3k like I did my sub. My concern is am I going to love the watch everyday as I did my sub. I don't want it to be an occasional wearer. My other dream watch is a red 1680

I have successfully done a super rep 16610 with everything gen minus the case and bracelet and am on to my next big ticket project. Super franken 16622 yachtmaster. I'm a little bit on the fence but at the same time I've already acquired the donor watch (thanks ceocorona!) and gen YM dial courtesy of mymanmatt. I'm wondering if I am in over my head on this one as I would most likely daily wear the YM. Here is a list of parts I have access to and plan on using! (Need to buy) Genuine 3135 Genuine crystal w/ LEC Genuine bezel w/ platinum insert Genuine retaining ring (same as 16610) Genuine YM hands (anyone have a set or can get it?) My rep parts would be as followed: Sean case TC bracelet My biggest fear is this watch might have to much bling for a daily watch but I've always been in love with the 16622 from a distance until now. Let me know your opinions on your thoughts and please if you have any super franken YMs please share them! I'd love to see what the finished product will look like

Ya. I've seen people (us for example) take real Rolex cases and swap in different movements! Gotta watch out for people who want to do evil with our knowledge..

It's not so bad though if your doing a 16610 or vintage piece. I'd like to see some gen 18k president replicas! Lol there's a watch that will gain some value

Ya. It's a challenge making the perfect TT AS those gold parts are what they are..GOLD. As we know gold prices are high so creating a sub that will hold its water for a long period of time is just not cost effective and you will end up 90% cost of gen...no bueno

BP with out a doubt is the closest to gen I can find. I may buy one and tear it down and see just how well this thing is put together. I hope it is better then their subs!

I kind of feared that. Trying to help someone find an alternate foundation besides all the immediate known 1:1 makers.

Any body know if the BP 16613 is 1:1? Is the bezel assembly gen constructed?

Not bad for 125.00 definitely could have done better but I wouldn't say you way over payed...just slightly
