Well so far I actually find ANGUS's explorer II to be the best with correct hand stack ect ect and the attention to detail you guys are talking about is something only .0001% of the general population is really going to know and over-all I just want a solid dial and nice looking hands. my concentration right now are on my Datejust builds using gen case, gen dial, gen crystal, gen crown and tube, ETA and rep band

How can you tell the construction of the crystal is bad I mean thats an easy fix? clark crystal perhaps? I have been searching left right up and down for a good rep of this watch and so far this one seems to be the best...unless someone coughs up a site with a real good one OR willing to sell me theirs! I would love to hear other wise I will probably stumble on this one (not particularly this EXACT one) but same dealer etc. (watchinternational)

I have heard that the 1:1 do exist they are just VERY VERY rare I have a supposed source I am still waiting on an example piece to share! so hang tight! other wise seems like a good alternate...

I magnified the image even more turns out its just gunk caught up in there not paint. and I believe this one seems to be closest to gen dial as it seems to get? I have seen reps with straight up gray hands AND markers also this has holes drilled in the sides. only 288.00

OK so I have been through a dozen sights trying to unravel what is what and why is why on these explorer reps! some have correct hand stack some do not. Some have black hands while others have silver-ish hands and markers? I really need some enlightenment here as I am shopping for one of these bad boys. Do all gen explorers come with black hands and black ringed hour markers? and please someone answer this question here. WHO has the best SOURCE for these as I really want to order one!!! thanks! I am thinking of buying this one and I need input ASAP!

everything felt great as far as I am concerned. the weight seemed spot on the feel was good the brushing was great. strength? I am not sure I have not put my watch under enough wear and tear to determine the strength. If you wear the watch good and dont beat it up to much I think the band will hold up just fine! good luck with your search!

Funny I have this exact insert on my TW but got it from a local gold and silver exchange where they work on rolex.

I have held the gen Side by side with my TW and couldnt tell the difference

FUNNY STORY: I was at a pet shop playing with a parrot and he decided to rip the pearl off my bezel so I put this one on from a rolex repair shop in Dallas. fun photo though LMK what you guys think!

I am only fixated on the idea if it is a TRUE 3135 CLONE so do not misquote me I do not plan on ripping out the 2836-2 I simply want to see how well this movement is. I have a jeweler going with me who spends all day working on 3135s if he says its legit I am game to buy one and spread the news of a good source. as far as dials go I believe he only has one and if so I will buy it and re-sell it on the forum but not for my cost but if your nice....

Interesting how old is your TW? I noticed it says TSWISS and is the assembly GEN on that watch?

Went to the local gold and silver exchange where they sell rolex and service them they loved my TW so much they said I was welcomed to there parts so I bought a rolex retainer ring and bezel insert and that fixed her right up! but the bezel's numbers are thinner??? maybe older model? oh well!

Have a buddy in the USA pick one up for you or eBay (make sure they have strong positive feedback) I see them go for 3900-6000 on craigslist all day. Good luck with the hunt!!!

Will do he ensures me they are not eta dress ups etc and they are about 350-400 and he says he has put gen parts in there in the past and has also put them in gen rolex projects he seems to know what he is talking about I should have my hands on one within the week look out on the forum for 3135 clone true or bust?
