I ordered some hands and turns out they are not the right hands from Clarks. My franken has the wrong hand set that I set in there temporarily though some argue it gives it a unique look I am looking for the correct look If any one would kindly donate or sell me some hands that would be killer! its for a 36mm case set with a swiss ETA 2836-2. PM me or reply via thread and we can go from there! or simply point me to where I need to go to order the right ones! thanks RWG!

I hear the best subs are on canal street in NYC lol jk I got a TW sub from BK for 650 but it will definitely be your last sub once you start adding gen parts and all that good stuff!!

So I discovered on my franken datejust build using a genuine rolex gasket gave the date mag the perfect magnification. I was wondering if this little mod would help out the TW best. IMO the date mag on the TW is not as strong as it could be. I have already compared it to gen subs and they all have significantly stronger mag...I mean its close but I feel it could get better and I do want a gen crystal but for the mean time it would be great to find a little mod that would take this watch the extra mile! let me know experts what you guys think!! it worked a miracle on my DJ.

I would stay away from 21j it's a low beat movement and that alone will raise alot of questions used to have one and people just immediately knew it was not near as smooth as it should have been...can't argue with a Swiss eta

As far as I know the ones out have completly wrong crowns and are only replicated after pics and no genuine samples used during the replication process

Get a 36mm and buy you a 16000 case and you will be set. gen dial gen case gen crown/tube etc etc...you can do a really nice build usually under 700. Here are pics of my franken I just completed 4 nights ago.

No need for the date wheel overlay atleast not yet. I have to re-do the date wheel as it is not sitting right on some dates which I am waiting for my clark hands to get here so I can just knock that out and also I just used a spacer off a swiss ETA rep DJ case worked great. they are the plastic ones.

How much does that run usually?

Actually I am INCORRECT and I called two Rolex ADs and they both said the early M series did not have rehaut engraving so to all TW best purchasers this is ACCURATE!!! some one really spooked me on this one but were all good here! CASE CLOSED!

Its just the fact of the matter so is this incorrect or correct thats basically what I am going for here? and I do understand no one is obviously gonna know the difference. my last TW was correct I would hate to see that I paid a lot more for something that is not correct...just my 2 cents is all... Just received my TW best from BK and it appears to have M550912. 2 concerns and PLEASE ROLEX EXPERTS correct me if I am wrong but 1. M series are supposed to be on rehaut at 6 along with ROLEX ROLEX ROLEX. 2. is it not supposed to be MXXXXX not MXXXXXX? 5 numbers instead of 6? I am confused why would BK go from selling something that was properly replicated to improperly replicated? I am learning all this and as far as I know this is not right? CORRECT me if I am wrong! thanks!

And I just ordered the correct CLARK hands for the watch with luminova. these were the only ETA hands I could get my hands on for the time being!

After a long wait finally finished this franken datejust project. Hardest part was of course the wait and a little difficult on the parts search but all in all this was a pretty fun project being my first franken! Genuine 16000 case Genuine crown/tube Genuine Dial from eBay Genuine crystal (converted from acrylic) Genuine bezel Genuine end links Genuine band Swiss ETA 2836-2 This one was made for my girlfriend to wear. funny how she gets the genuine and I am stuck with my lil ol' TW best (gen parts in route for ths one) ENJOY!

I got to play around with a genuine one the other day. watch was 100% original never a piece removed from that beauty
