  1. great watch

    - also recommended as a can't lose gift for any woman is the j12 chanel - it spreads like a virus - once one woman in your family has one, they all want one - up and down the age chain

i got my mom the FM colour dreams - she loves that watch wears it all the time, and i got her the Men's size version by dealer's mistake, but, its greaet cause she can see it with her aging eyes :)

    ENJOY!

I bought her that one too! Here it is on my wrist- hey, it's a man's size, isn't it? Cheers, Arty

  2. We were married in Vegas a few years back, and have returned many times since, mostly to play slots and roulette. When I saw this FM on Andrew's site a whle back, I knew she would love one as a gift, and I was right! It has a working roulette wheel, just for fun...

I saved quite a bit by not opting for a Gen, wouldn't you say?

I also notice that GP made one, yes one slot machine watch- I really hope a rep of this comes up sometime soon...

    Thanks for looking! Arty

  3. Welcome! What's your pleasure? Rolex? Omega? Panerai? I was in your shoes about three years ago, but am still considered a 'Noob' by many of the old-timers around these parts. Have fun, and we hope and pray you have a good digital camera... Ciao, Arty

  4. I had a smilar experience, but keep in mind I'm in th U.S.- My new Asian 7750 Navitimer conked out after one week. I followed his instructions and kept in contact with him. He had the watch in 9 business days, fixed it (pretty much), and it took 11 business days to arrive back in my hands. Total time for transit and repair was about 3 1/2 weeks. My guess is you will have it in this upcoming week. Good luck, Arty

  5. Well, Andrew's fantasy model has been discontinued for now, so I opted for this one- just arrived today...

I am thrilled by it's ridiculously awesome size, and simplicity. I am still learning about this Gen model's history- Rolex pocket watch movement, Italian Navy standard issue, 1950 units manufactured, 1st limited production model from Panerai etc. Now I'll scout out a black strap for it, with proper markings...

    Happy New Year! Arty

  6. Thanks for the responses guys. I was just looking for an entry level PAM, and have been intrigued by this model's size for quite some time. I have not studied thoroughly about which ones are fantasy models- has to do with the printing on the dial, for one, I presume. That doesn't really matter to me at this stage; I am just floored by it's size- looks like it could eat my 37-41mm rep collection specimens (all at once?) for lunch! Borrowed gen shots of size comparison that persuaded me to pull the trigger:

I'll probably go on a strap buying spree for this watch after I find out if I can pull off the size, if not you'll see it in the for sale section in January! :)

    Cheers, Arty
