  1. I need to pack for a holiday trip so short answer- Andrew is Trustytime, I'm in U.S. so no recomendation on shipping to Sweden (from China where Andrew is), when it rains and I'm outdoors all my reps go in my pants pocket. I believe you could pay extra for a proper water resistance upgrade...although mine has provrn to be especially water tight from the factory.

    Gotta' go, Arty

  2. I sure like mine from Andrew. The Bond strap it comes on is chinsy though, thin strap material with plated hardware. I purchased some different Natos with stainless steel hardware from Gnomonwatches for a little variety...

I love the raised crystal, they just don't make 'em like this anymore!

    Good luck, Arty

  3. I don't blame you Arty. I think a gen Navi is on my list to buy some day as well. I'm personally into the version with the silver on silver subdails and with the thick OEM Croc in black with the white stitching.

Hadn't thought of that dial / strap combo Robbie- sounds like it would be really cool! No substitute for the OEM Breitling straps either (I own a 20mm tan calfskin). I'll bet the black Croc is simply awesome, even though it would cost as much or more, than the rep watch... Ciao, Arty

  4. I'll second that Stephane.

Still seeking a 'decent' wearable base 1655 for 'fun' and ongoing mods, and the Honpo version looks ideally suited to that end.

    Here's mine- I think it's the same as Honpo's-

I was going to provide a few links I had bookmarked where you can sill get this, one was Pam111.com, but the model doesn't show up anymore! Arty

  5. Besides the entire Rolex sport watch line (which I can't pull off as a guy in his very early 20s

Why couldn't you pull it off? Size-wise or $$$ wise? Here's a shot of a vintage gen Sub borrowed from our cousin gen forum- I'll bet he's in his 20's - does this look too small for your taste?

...This piece as you probably know, currently goes for about $8000-$10,000 right now. I'll settle the closest I can get right now, from Andrew...

Best to you, I'm just brainstorming, Arty

  6. Greetings Vlad, and welcome. The reason a question like that doesn't go over well around here is because many of us have been around these parts for months and even years, and have seen new members get burned too often. Don't get me wrong, some of us have too (not me thank God). Granted, once in a blue moon someone comes up with a good new replica supplier, but 99 out of 100 times it turns out to be a scam. Stick to the recommended dealers listed on the home page, and you'll be much better off. I'm looking at the prices on this site, and they do not seem right. We recommend spending a couple days, if not weeks, getting all your ducks in a row knowledge-wise before you pull the trigger on a new watch. Good luck, Arty

  7. Between my wife and I, we bring six. I've got a compact black leather 4 watch travel case in which two of mine and two of hers are placed, and packed in our carry-on. And, we each wear one the plane of course. It's nice to be able to have a small variety to choose from depending on what activity your going to get into i.e. gambling, shopping, seeing a show, swimming in the hotel pool, etc. And, your room will have a wall safe (most likeley) that you can secure them in while you're out and about. Have fun! Arty

  8. Thanks to Arty we all know about him!

Thanks Doc, I just caught that. To anyone who is curious about that comment; I ordered a watch from Lawrence when he was on CQout, had good results and followed him over to his (then) new website- H.O.S. And Fakey. Once you've dealt with him (if not already?), you'll be so tickled by his quality, prices and service that I bet you'll jump on the HOS fan-bus too!

    Ciao, Arty
