The reason the datewheel is in the position it is on the rep, is due to the A7750 modified movement. The date window position was designed to coincide with the datewheel position in the movement. The same movement used explains the pusher and crown positions, hands pinions, case thickness, and datewheel visual depth differences in the rep, all known flaws in the AP reps.
I would however like to say that the MH is a very nice rep specimen. The hands pinion size looks to be more accurate to gen given the dial layout. The date window is also not touching the edge of the tachy like a lot of 42mm ROO reps.
Be happy with this watch, it is as nice as an ROO rep can get without going franken.
