  1. you have a fantastic collection man, i am jealous
  2. i am 100% sure the navitimer world needs a 24mm straps. the normal navitimer uses 22mm ones.
  3. i cant understand why most people would go for a rolex rep. if i had that amount of cash, i would eleminate the rep option and would search the web for a beautifull gen. there are some great brands that you could buy. omega, breitling, corum, mont blanc,etc... take the time to make your decision, if you buy a rep, maybe in a year or even before, you will regret it, just because its a rep, and, as you speek, you'll never have the oportunity to buy a gen anymore. so in 4 words, go for a gen.
  4. ALL my reps have always been waterproof but my navitimer. when i get a new watch, i shower with it. if its ok, then i swim with it. i have 4 pams, 2 with chronos. a sosf, a chrono evo and a yachtmaster. they are all waterproof. i even tried swimming with a navitimer, wich was not a good idea, but when i came back home, i opened the case back and waited for a week before closing it back, and now it works perfectly. so we should not be afraid of putting our watches in water. that's what i think
  5. hi, nice collection. i see you have 3 ESQ quest watches. i just order the first one. siver chrono. how do you like them compare to the rest of your collection?
  6. i agree that taste should be the only consideration, i wanted to see other opinions on double AR on watches that should not have and thats what i see. thanks all for your replies. i am still learning here.
  7. ok, i know that watches with super AR look beautifull but not always a good reflection of the gens they copy. when almost everybody here want to have the most perfect reps, i think that all the AR quest is becoming more important than it is for gen watches. some of us here have enough money to buy very expensive gens, in that case, is the AR a considaration? or should we buy watches we love even if they dont have double AR? it seems that double AR is one of the most important things in rep world today. what i say in this topic is ONLY MY OPINION, and i know i can be wrong.
  8. yes, of course so everybody would think its fake you probably would send your rolex for a double AR too
  9. yes, when i look at pam pics on ebay or elsewhere, i never see blue tint on crystal, i always see some reflections on it. dont get me wrong, i love watches with double AR. i have a sfso and a bce. but, i somehow love to see reflections on my pams. am i the only one? here are some pics i took on the bay. every one of them come from power sellers who only sell gens.
  10. very nice, i like the strap but i think its up side down,
  11. i love graham watches, the swordfish is one of my favorites. it is beautifull
  12. i am sure someone can help me. please
  13. i have 5 watches with that movement and they all work very well. some i have since 2-3 years without a problem. one of them came with a problem but i shipped it back to the seller for an exchange. i owned a breitling chronomat and i loved it, just sold it to buy another one with a different dial color. so that would be my choice.
  14. i know cousinsuk have some, but i need to know what size will fit my pam 024. i know some of you can help me with that. if you have some spare gaskets i am a buyer. thanks very much
  15. ok, so maybe this will help you to choose your steelfish. imagine you would buy a gen... would you pick the blue, black or white one? well your answer is the one you should buy in rep too.
  16. its true that blue dials are harder to replicate. its too bad because i love blue face watches. if they would make an accurate headwind with blue dial, it could be my last watch. that one would complete my collection
  17. maybe in pics we could find some reps that look like the gen but in person, forget it
