a year ago, the gen 6.75 changed. now its the 6.75 speed. the rep is now the rep of the 6.75 speed. so the watch that the OP is showing is not the same as the old 6.75. personnally, i prefer the old style, rep and gen, especially the bezel, and the subdial surrounds on the speed are too much.

i guess i am wrong my smallest watch is a pam217, i have a breit SA, an oris Prodiver, and just purchased a gen u-boat flight deck 55mm.

of course Dave, a gen i always better, no question here. what i wanted to say, is having a franken that is so close to a gen SA, i would maybe buy a genuine of another watch that is not repped, or that is not repped so well. that being said, if the SA is your favorite watch amongs all, it is worth Having the gen for sure. personnally, having a franken SA was enough for me, (after having the gen). so i decided to buy other gens (seawolf and oris prodiver). that is just my opinion and i accept others having different opinions.

yeah its gen guys. but seriously, comparing it to my franken SA, nobody could tell wich one is rep vs gen, apart of course geeks with trained eyes. but built quality of reps is impressive today. they only lack quality control, like the lume dots on seawolf. i have seen some seawolf's with relume dials and they could almost pass as gen. Dave, the old 6.75 case has a smaller bezel and the pattern is not the same as the new 6.75 cases (rep and gen) you have to look closely to see the difference. i actually prefer the first version. its the same with dials, the new 6.75 has bigger metal surronds around the subdials (gen and rep again) i think that israg's 6.75 combines better of both, even if not accurate to gen.

i was pretty sure your dial was gen, if not, i would have ordered one right now. i would say that the rep SA with gen dials are so close to gen, that buying a gen is not really worth it. i own a franken SA and a Gen Seawolf and built quality is almost equal. nobody around me could spot the rep vs gen. congrats on that beauty!

Super watch, i think its the ultimate sport/dress watch. it can be worn on any occasion, and will still be outstanding. congrats on this purchase, you have some great taste

Thanks guys for your comments, unfortunately, the only breitling still in my collection is the blue franken SA, all others have been sold. i also have had about 10 more BCE's and 2 SOH's but no wristies of those. my favorite among the ones i have sold was the bentley 6.75, but the fact that it could not be waterproof made me sell it. when i wear a watch i have to be able to do anything with it, without being to carefull. thats the reason i have a deposit on a Gen Seawolf SS . i will post pics of this one when i get it. The mods on the 6.75 were, chief double AR, amazing! The Zigmeister relume and service, thats is where the subdial hands have been moved, and it was a mistake, but never bothered me. the new version of the 6.75 gen, has the hands like that anyways. seing my pics, i really miss a franken white SA too, i might get another one on the way.
