I believe most replica chronographs on the street are either fake "calendar" subdials disguised as a chrono or just quartz... a dead giveaway. I can imagine someone charging that amount locally; especially considering how oblivious most people are about watches and how many can be hooked with fancy talk and clever marketing ploys...

I have one too... they are such clever watches. Because of all the numbers, when people see me wearing it, they think I'm some kind of mathematician!

Hello, There are a few active Greek members here (maybe you all could get together and... philosophize.. or do whatever it is you do in your spare time ;-) ) but I can tell you that I have never heard of anyone having customs problems shipping replicas over there. I would recommend an EU dealer like Narikaa for other reasons, like quality control for instance, because often those big Chinese websites do a poor job inspecting before shipping. However, if you're keen on a watch as soon as possible, I would go ahead and place an order - the BCE is a great choice, I always wanted one myself. Our dealers have certain 'methods' to ensure a safe arrival of your timepiece... Good luck! PS: Remember: the unexamined life is indeed not worth living! I still believe that if she doesn't own one already, every woman should have a Patek Philippe 24 replica. There are so many different versions available (from standard stainless steel, to ritzier yellow and rose gold, to the extravagant haute joaillerie full diamond encrust) so finding the perfect one can be a pleasant adventure all in itself. I've never sold anything here, mainly because I'm scared of people. Call me antisocial, but I do not want some yahoo sending me letter-bombs because of some preposterous minute problem encountered during the deal... like "shipping was too long" or "i founded a scratch on my watch give me immediate refund waaaa"

It's so true though, really, who here actually uses a full stopwatch to such an extent they need it on their watch? My cellular phone can keep timing for weeks and yet - I own two chronograph watches. WHY? It's the complexity I think - the beauty of the invention, and the ingenuity of the human mind to create it and the cleverness of the Chinese to copy it.

Interesting article. I've seen the watch first hand and can certainly attest to its presence on the wrist. It doesn't really sit well on mine, but I recommend it for those who like it large!

I hate to bump threads but I want to contribute here since my name was mentioned. I have been going crazy about this watch - there are times of the day when I really badly want it but other times I think the inaccuracies are just too much. It is a beautiful replica, a masterpiece, and a somewhat faithful, let's call it, "interpretation" of this gen minute repeater from Vacheron Constantin: 30040/000R-9090 Currently it is being offered for $395,000. I still dunno if I want this watch. It really looks gorgeous but it's such a fantasy rep that anybody who is familiar with Vacheron Constantin will recognize it is a fake. I really do love that movement and I think it would be good for my first lemania. In terms of sun/moon date it is the nicest I think, especially when compared to the super fantasy reps of similar design from Breguet, AP, and especially Patek Philippe. It's a hard decision. There was a time when I wanted to get this as a gift for my dad but it was not available, and as I wait for it to become available, I start liking it for myself... its a real nuisance of a decision let me tell you that.

The biggest inaccuracy is the spacing of the subdials. It is a dead giveaway, they are too far apart. The other dead giveaway is that this watch is only a 30 minute chronograph. The 6:00 "hour counter" subdial follows the watch hour hand (look carefully) and it will look totally stupid on your wrist. If you want a correct looking Daytona you need to get one with a modified asian 7750 seconds-at-6 movement, but that is a very very notoriously unreliable movement whereas the one you picked is a very very reliable workhorse movement. So you have to decide: do I want reliability at the cost of accuracy or accuracy at the cost of reliability? My personal choice would be neither and instead purchase something different altogether. good luck and please read and educate yourself regarding these daytona models... they are very popular and much has been written about them.

The dial is quite surprisingly more accurate than the $250 version I own. But my movement is probably better, that's why, the cost... still yours is a real beaut!

My guess would be around 1500-2000 if the condition is really very good.... maybe even more since the day/date is a rarer combination. But don't quote me, I'm just guessing.
