  1. Who was eliminated and where? Apparently some American sport, eh?
  2. Thanks... I feel honored. Amazing pics Lani! I love the BTR and of course those double AR'd Aquaracer and SMP Chrono are simply stunning. All three are definite keepers for sure.
  3. Come on Ken... we all know that it's "chicks with dicks".
  4. Yes I do. I reviewed that watch. Read the article here. They are not as good as v2 but they're easily modifiable. I modded them myself and they became fairly accurate.
  5. WM9 v2 Submariner crown guards are virtually perfect. I couldn't tell them from a gen anyway. Noobfactory ExpII and GMTII have decent ones as well.
  6. Hey guys... my password for Playboy.com (fitness chicks department) has expired. The main site is slow as hell too... it was like going back to the broadband days when I tried to download pics of some XXL boobs and tight arses. Can anyone help? Thx.
  7. Citroen 2CV doesn't belong to this thread, imho. It may be ugly but it's a classic... at least for us Europeans. It represented a certain kind of "alternative" lifestyle for many people, just like the VW hippie bus.
  8. Not in the Explorer II rep though. Read.
  9. This longtime favorite today.
  10. I just checked and that site. And they sell total crap. Why do you think RWG members would be interested in that site?
  11. Nice Tudor TeeJay. Personally, I would just get rid of that lousy pearl. Lots of vintages out there without pearls. I'm wearing...
  12. Explorer II black CHS not on your list Ubi? Besides the normal stuff (SELs and clasp not perfect, oversized etching) it's very good (imho). The CHS version is the only Rolex rep that has the exact vertical crown position. Excellent dial, date mag, crown guards and case/crystal combo. Even the bezel numbers are spot on. Black version picture is of the WHS though. The crown is only 99% exact on it. It's very close to WM9 standards, imho. It's much better rep overall than the GMTIIc which (besides being a solid rep) has some serious flaws. ExpII has none... with gen dial & crown it's almost indistinguishable. Amazing franken base. WM9 v2 and these two are my only remaining Rolex reps (actually I have installed much better SELs on my black version after I shot this one).
  13. Hey Lani that Fat Lady is a real beauty. And reminds me again why I will own 2 GMT Masters eventually. One Pepsi, one Coke. Actually I have a gen red/black insert and perhaps I'm putting it in (at least for a while) one of these days. Pepsi is my favorite but the red/black is more "dressy" definitely.
  14. SWISSMADE, SWISS'MADE and SWISS ' MADE are all correct for the YM. YM Rolesium dials have probably the MOST variation among the Rolex models. There is also plenty of variation among the red YACHT MASTER font on the dial. There are some with very bright and strong red, and some that use much more "bland" red. Noobfactory YM is excellent rep for the money. Here's my old review of the Asian version. Enjoy!
  15. I'm with my mate JeffG... I haven't bought any new reps in 2009. That doesn't mean that I won't... it's probably just temporary until the old "buying burn" comes back again. Technically WM9 Sub v2 was a 2008 watch so I don't really know what to vote. 2008 was a stellar rep year... it has been much slower in 2009.
  16. Morning. Wearing this beauty today.
  17. I deleted the emails because I was suspicious that it could be a password -> PayPal trap.
  18. Morning, all! Wearing the classic today.
  19. There are always a few Trekkie bastards living in their mother's basement who love gossip, negativity and all that. So I'm voting no. If a mod wins a raffle, it will raise unnecessary questions. It'd be nice to win something nice for cheap, but not really worth it.
  20. SMP today.
  21. Yep. But the early versions of SMP chrono came with perfect ETA datewheel. Me and chrgod got the first ones and it's all good. They downgraded the datewheel to the later batches only.
  22. BTR today.
  23. @B.Diddy: Just buy the friggin' gen if those things bother you so much... these are reps (from Guangzhou, China... not 100% perfect) and it's not like the SMP Chrono is a $5K watch or anything.
  24. What Toad says... 2 different gen versions. Other has orange subdial hand tips, the other has "pink" ones. Strange but true. The old rep uses orange which are accurate. If the old rep version had a gen bezel insert it'd be super hard to tell it from a gen. It's that good.
  25. Just for the record: The SMP Chrono HE valve is in different position. It's exactly at 10'o'clock on the gen... unlike the standard version (which has HE valve placed higher). At least the old chrono rep version is accurate in this sense too.
