PS Gio... forgot to answer your question... I got the watch from Homer year and a half ago. (an UK based dealer).
I'm not sure which dealers still sell this exact same model though...
There's nothing to decide. It simply can't get any better than this one.
The AR looks decent. It should have blueish tint on it... but when the rep is this good I think complaining about it goes to anal department.
I only recontrast the dial & fix some oversaturated parts from the pics occasionally. I would never "photoshop the SELs" or things like that. This rep has very good SELs and bracelet.
It's not genuine, it's a rep. Link to the age old review is in my signature.
Filed the bezel insert very thin... so now the crystal looks like it's sitting higher. Still not high enough... but much better.
Like the shot? Been busy with the camera today.
I'm not sure (yet) whether I like this shot or not. Tried to use some "reflective lighting". But just changed the PO to this one anyway...
And an old wristshot (the snow is long gone).
Martial arts, huh?
I've been involved with combat sports too... I can still use a watch. You know... I always take my watch off before I go training.
Welcome. Check my signature links for some pointers.
Yeah. You know what I like.
I'm not too crazy about ANY of the Omega Special Editions. Bond, Olympics, etc. A bit cheesy (imho). The old 007 SMP is nice though... but I still prefer the standard version.
@HighDef:
Navi and the Snowflake have been traded... to finance new purchases. I wanted the TT Navi just because I wanted to do community service and review it. I also mentioned this to EL. It was totally awesome watch and rep... but gold is too much for me. Both went to new good homes and good members.
About the Snowflake... that was difficult to part with. But I'm going to buy a gen Tudor Sub one of these days.
And COME ON GUYS...post some new group shots. Members are getting bored of seeing just my watches all over again.
Edit: Thanks Puggy. Great varied collection... makes mine feel unimaginative and dull. I'm just a mainstream sports watch guy... I absolutely love my reps though.
Hi doc...I'm the last person in the world to dislike ANY Omega. But I don't like this particular model too much.
I could live with those huge hour numerals but that weird, oversized Omega text & logo kills it for me. I guess I'm too conservative.
I'm lousy with the group shots but managed to shoot a new one anyway. My collection has gotten a bit smaller again. Not much variation and adventurous attitude, I admit... but these are the watches I wear. I'm perfectly satisfied with it now... and can't imagine of letting any of these remaining beauties go... So... show me your collection... and let's see some nice new group shots!!!
