  1. Hey...why isn't Saabin registered here? He had excellent MBW SeaDweller frankens with genuine movement. I have completely forgotten about the guy. Great member!!!

You can buy those from George... or from fellow members. They might be harder to get... bit it still doesn't make any sense to buy a sub-par rep which wouldn't satisfy your needs in the long run.

Uhh... Andrew is a great dealer and he doesn't sell bad watches. But I'd pass that one. It's not a bad watch but... Get the WM/MBW if you want a decent 1680... there's no competition.

    Bond

There are no genuine standard Ti Seamaster "Bond" models, either. The Electric Blue SMP is available in titanium... not sure about others. Finding the standard Bond shouldn't be a problem as it's one of the best selling reps ever. I'm quite sure all dealers carry the same model of the ETA-powered rep. There's absolutely no practical difference between the movements... other just has option for day-date which isn't used on the SMP. Mine is the old model with pins on the bracelet. But I guess the new good ones are pretty much identical... just screws on the bracelet.
  5. Hey...found this from the archives and decided to give it a bump. Great pics... and maybe we got a few more Breitling fans since July.
  6. Yes you are. Only the new 2006-2007 models of Seamaster Chrono (and standard Seamaster) have red Seamaster writing. All the other gen Seamaster chronos and Bond Seamasters (from the last 10 years) have it written in white.
  7. Glad you found one of these...you can consider yourself lucky. Another rep that will become a "collector's piece". It's a big, bulky bastard. I'll get the Steelfish SuperOcean when it's out... gotta love the Breitlings.
  8. @Bazz: You're actually the first one I've seen who has big enough wrist for the 45mm PO. @dluddy: Gotta love that Moon Watch. Well anyway...here's "Pesky By-Tor's" late entry. Changed the Bond Seamaster to the Old Faithful.
  9. Excellent and thoughtful review... and nice pictures. You could make them automatically full sized if you used the <img> tags. Thanks for sharing. I will add this review to the next update of Omega Guide. Thanks again for your work.
  10. I've had some. First... my MBW 1680 (Palpatine mods). Loved this watch: On the left: WatchMaster Tudor "Military" Snowflake. Crown guards modified by me. Loved this too: Just a small mod: Pearl on Noobmariner. Improves the watch a lot: Aftermarket bezel insert filed extremely thin on the GMT (which makes the crystal sit higher):
  11. I've always said this is excellent rep... why it doesn't sell that much is a mystery. Perhaps members think it's too understated? It looks surprisingly small compared to the chrono. It's not long ago when 39mm was considered "full size". And absolutely fantastic work again with the review chrgod. It was a real pleasure to read it. Thanks!!!
  12. What... no Chronomat Evolution on your list? WTF is wrong with you?
  13. Lovely watch. I wish mine were already here. How does the clasp feel? And how does it close? Tight and nice?
  14. Boxes and accessories make cool surfaces and setups for photographs. Other than that they're pretty much useless (gen or rep).
  15. Ok guys... here's my new Daytona and Day-Date Paul Newman. Reviews coming up soon... but I can already say they're absolutely FLAWLESS. Ok....subdial spacing maybe a bit off on the Day-Date, but that's nitpicking... PS: Look at the crown guards on Day-Date. Not oversized like always...these are just like the gen.
  16. That's genuine guys. Genuine junk. How about this one... waddya say?
  17. The digital numbers look good on the picture... and made interesting setup. Actually I didn't know it was a "lady phone"... I don't know much about phones. But anyway... I think my manhood can survive it.
  18. Nope. It's just the default rep pearl. It looks very close to gen though.
  19. Seamaster Chrono is extremely accurate. Flaws are misaligned bezel (fixable) and screws on the bracelet. It's just as good (or even better) than the standard SMP. The upcoming PureTime version of Chronomat Evolution shows a lot of promise. Let's hope it turns out well: http://www.replicacollector.com/members/in...showtopic=27211 "So called Ultimate" Planet Ocean 45mm is almost perfect (save the blue tint on AR). And SteelFish SuperOcean is coming too...

    My Bond Seamaster.
  21. I've been shooting watches lately more than Pugwash himself. I kinda like the results lightbox gives me.
  22. Great shots as usual. Let's hope this Navi lasts a bit longer than the previous one.
  23. Thanks. Here's the same pic... bigger version:
  24. Wow... nice accessories Puggy. I like the boxes and other toys too. If nothing else, they make good surfaces for photo setups.
