  1. Maybe TAG isn't your girlfriend's style but I reviewed TAG Ladies model just a week ago: http://www.rwg.cc/members/index.php?showtopic=14263
  2. Good observation. They have some correct pics of 45mm versions too. But then again... Planet Ocean and its flaws have been beaten to death long time ago. The 4th Gen was close enough (and big enough) for me so I just moved on. So I won't be making any more comparisons, that's for sure...
  3. http://www.authenticwatches.com/ This is by far the best resource I've found. It's actually a sales site but very useful for us. Bookmark it for the future rep vs. genuine comparisons. It has complete database and (zoomable) pics of ALL models of the following brands: TAG HEUER OMEGA B & M BREITLING ORIS TECHNOMARINE CARTIER RADO CHOPARD MOVADO EBEL GUCCI LONGINES JAEGER ZENITH
  4. Found this from the WUS archives: http://forums.watchuseek.com/showthread.php?t=25057
  5. If it was sent from another EU country to another... (Austria to UK) you shouldn't pay any taxes. The shipment shouldn't even go through customs inspection. Sounds weird.
  6. To be honest with you... I didn't even look. I remove and trash all the hologram stickers right away when I get new Rolex reps. Does that sticker really matter?
  7. What a fantastic watch Alex!!! Great choice, and great pictures! The hour markers look great. I actually prefer the white hour markers instead of the "yellowish" ones that I had on my MBW 1680. Both look correct though... these vintages age differently. If I had to choose a vintage Rolex again it would be this model without a doubt. Congrats my friend!!!
  8. Neil posted these wristshots. I believe they're of the XXL model. PS guys: Please post all Omega-related stuff (pics, discussion, requests) to the Omega subforum. It always makes searching everything so much easier. Thanks.
  9. "Swiss made stainless steel case". LOL. That should tell you everything you need about the site.
  10. Nice indeed. The rep seems to be good but strange how that Omega logo on the dial looks like that. It grossly oversized. Strange because otherwise the dial looks good. Print, crispiness, etc. But if he sends a replacement dial it'll be great. Very nice comparison, good work!
  11. For what it's worth... I never, ever hand wind my ETA non-chronograph watches. I don't see any reason for that. They'll start ticking again as soon as you put them on and shake gently.
  12. Very cool photos. And the watch looks great on a strap.
  13. For me today: My favourite Rolex. This for my babe:
  14. Very good job with the mods. The watch looks great. But you need to improve your pictures, they're way too dark. That's why I suspect you didn't get much response in this thread. I lightened up one pic. It's impossible to make them decent but at least it shows the watch a bit better.
  15. I'm sure it's a great watch. But buying a $5000 Seiko is still like buying a $100.000 Fiat. I love Seikos though... and have owned many. Great quality. Orange Monster is one of the best "value for money" watches available. They just don't have the "brand prestige" (at least not yet). But then again neither did Lexus when Toyota put the first ones out.
  16. Yes, I would think so. This is TTK's picture http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-11/711...LINKWHITE02.jpg Another... two-tone version: http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2002-11/711...WOTONELINK4.jpg Narikaa has the Aquaracer with white dial. The pic is rather small though. http://img222.imageshack.us/img222/6666/wt2vw0.jpg
  17. Hey guys... take another look. The black (non-Senna) version should always come with "brushed bezel"... and it should have tachymeter numerals on the rehaut, not on the bezel. This rep looks like it's some kind of strange hybrid combo: It has the case, crown and pushers of the "brushed" version, and dial, bezel and datewheel from the "polished" version. It's still a handsome piece, and I wouldn't have any problem wearing it. But it's a weird combo.
  18. Happy birthday my friend. According to his RWG profile he's born 1966. That makes him 40. So it's a special birthday. PS: I saw some pics of him previousy... and I thought he was at least 10 years younger.
  19. New GMT Masters don't all come with Serif. Most do, however. But I saw one brand new 2006 model at my local AD that had the exact same font as the reps. And here's a shot from the Basel show (straight from the Rolex booth): The rep font isn't inaccurate.
  20. By-Tor

    Rolex Lv 16610

Both. It's the LV version of the Noobmariner.
  21. No worries, give Puggy a few months and he'll catch that.
  22. @doc: The numbers on your aftermarket insert are cut, and don't fit to the bezel ring. Some reps came like that before... even mine (year and a half ago). That was actually the biggest reason I bought another insert. My watch before the mod (just look at 8 and 6):
  23. Blessed are people who are easy to please.
