  1. Yes, you are correct...I know this now

They are held behind by little tiny nuts. They do not unscrew from the front, one was done by me and one damaged by someone else who I thought knew what they were doing (watch smith I was using over the summer...not anyone on this board). Only 2 have marks that can be seen by the naked eye, keep in mind these close ups are like looking through a loupe.

It is complex contruction the caseback screws are not holding the fronts in the little nuts behind the fronts are.

Not lining them up is my fault...honestly I don't even look, or notice, or know these types of details - that is until it's pointed out and then it's plain to see.

My focus is on the servicing and the mechanical issues with the watch, as well as the lume.

Sorry Roger and RG, but on the ROO, this is a big give away when they are not aligned symmetrically ( is there such a word.....LOL)! That's one thing I noticed right away after looking

at the GEN and my first concern when I buy my REP ROO!

@Euno.......WOW B) That's a racy, speedy lookin watch! I beat you use it with your Bimmer! Did you buy the strap separate?

All's good thanks :) Well, nothing a few commissions wouldn't cure  really, just black paint? :o That really surprises me. I guess I could always get one and having it phantom lumed, I'm just wondering how versatile the watch itself is... Compared to a Submariner, how well would you say it goes with jeans and a white shirt?

@TJ.....With the Black Rubber strap.....it will go with anything casual......or beach wear! I agree, it needs a lume! I'll probably have it done sometime!

  3. your pics look good Hike !! I just got a "Nikon D60 for dummies" (book).. :p .. there is so much more to accomplish with the camera .. hope to tap into the capabilities more.. :)

Thanks Brah! Coming from you, that's a huge compliment! I got the D90 for my Asian trip and if you think the D60 is loaded....this Cam has lots more.....I'm looking to get the "Nikon D90 for dummies" (book)..

BTW: You mite wanna chk into this body armor for your D60, if you haven't gotten it yet: http://www.cameraarmor.com/product/Nikon-D...60-SLR,29,4.htm

    Aloha!

  4. If the pics showed it with pics like that, then the leather will be orange.

He told me to wait before I purchased my AP volcano because the strap will be out in orange. I didn't bother waiting because most likely, I will change the straps anyway

my AP navy comes with the blue leather. so not all of them are in black.

    Hey Dude!

What are your thoughts on the navy now that u had it for awhile? Can u post some pics?

    Thanks.
