We're getting close! Another RWG Milestone coming up.............the 9th person to join will be IT!
Ok! Here's the watch I'm offering to sell to pay (2 years worth???) for the 25000 member who joins:
If nobody buys this, he could have the watch if he pays 2 years worth of membership! Common people, let's
make this person HAPPY

If you LOVE PAMS, and who doesn't (you know who you are!); and you LOVE the PVD models, you gotta have the PAM202a! My LOVE and quest started when I saw Martin Wilmsen's Blog and Pictorials
here, I mean after looking at these pictures he took of the originals, who wouldn't fall in-love with this baby:So, that's how my quest started....
- got the dial from a Member here
- got the PVD case (good, but old) from another Member
- PM'ed Spin for the caseback and the first set of hands (luckily, he's got them)
- got the Swiss6497 from DSN
The following are pictures of the stages of of builds that it went thru.....
Parts being assembled:
1st completed build, wrong hands and without H3 Cannon Pin upgrade:
2nd mod, tried another pair of hands....still wrong:
3rd mod, upgraded the Cannon Pin to H3, but still wrong hands (driving me crazy!)
I finally got introduced to someone who could make me the right pair of 202a hands, and
God Bless his talented hands, he made the right one. I also decided to have him build me a
new PVD case and now, here's the final..........
TADA, Perfection.....Panerai 202a....can't get any better than this:
Correct hands setting on a tall H3 Cannon Pin:
Beautifull new PVD case:
Correct Caseback:
and nice Personally Vintagized Strap:
and side-by-side with the Gen:
Heavenly!
Thanks for looking!

Looks good, those Nylons work surprisingly well on the 3646 case:
If you ever want to change: here is a good solution for fixed lug (invisible rivet strap):

Thanks, E-! Your my Idol and inspiration when it comes to Vintage PAMs! I just have to build them myself! Could you PM me the source? I've got one given to me by a friend and I need more! I used that one on my almost finished 3646!
Very nice work mate as always, great pics too
I wonder if you used a Brushed steel Finish polish on the case would it help age that polished look??
Thanks, Pete! I will try your suggestion!
Nice work Hike! It's inspiring...there's just something about vintage pieces, I'm really starting to fall for these!
Cheers

Finally finished one of a few Vintage Panerais I always wanted to have, thanks to the Burnz and Donerix for
introducing me to these rare beauties. I bought the first one I have from Donerix, which was an amazing 6154,
but I did not feel the connection! I have to build these beauties for my self.....so here's the first one!
Panerai 2533:
These pictures were taken after the Vintagizing process, I think you all know how they look like brand new.
