Finepics definitelly.
As for the prices you should ask him but the results are the best you can get for your money (that I can assure you!).

Just a last detail...
The superluminova "glows" like a torch.
You can not read under its light but you can find your way in the dark (indoors!) without bumping anywhere!

... and I must tell that Watchinger team Sigi / Herbert also x-celled themselves over the strap!

Thanks for those kind words Marco. Actually this project spurred me on to create another special for myself which I will be posting details soon!!!
The words were truly felt.

Nice job Mark!
More than a professional, Mark is an artist.
And more important than that, a very, very nice fellow.

I´d like to share some pics of my 3646, returned from Finepics scalpel.
The case is still the one that came originally with the 3646 California Dial (OEM
from River).
The dial is a Davidsen and Mark did a remarkable work over it - Relume job - as he also did on the hands.
The colour is not white but a kind of vintage egg shell yellow.
Mark also did the crystal and that makes all the difference on the looks of the watch - I didn´t even recognize it when I opened the package
- !
The strap is a special order from Watchinger wich I later distressed and sewn to the watch lugs myself.
The buckle is a monster I bought with a RXW rep case on Ebay a month ago.
The final step on this one will be a heart surgery replacing the actual Molnija for a Cal. 616 Cortebert mvmt.
Thank you so much Mark for your superb work. I really cannot find words to express my feelings towards your work...
I also thank Watchinger for a superb high quality leather strap and Davidsen for his promptness and customer care.
Hope the photos do some justice to the the work involved (mainly Mark's).
Cheers,
M.

Wow Marco. I love it. Good work Mark!
I´ll start a post in an hour.
My photo skills are lousy so my wife is now taking some photos of the 3646 to do some justice to Mark's work.

The land of Cortebert!!!!! What vintage are you going to build with the OTHER twin movement??? 3646 maybe?
Leitz,
I will keep the one with the clear gear and will trade the other one (or replace the rusty Molnija on my 3646 with it!).
