  1. That is a great looking time piece! My first ever 'real' watch was a Rolex GMT I with the red/blue bezel. Sold it for a TT Sub with black dial. So, I could be convinced to join the dark side, Darth. Are the reps of vintage Rolex as nice as those of some of the more modern offerings? Thanks! PAM1962
  2. Ah-ha! Thanks. I really appreciate your helpfulness. PAM1962
  3. Hello, Thanks to all for the warm welcome here. What a great board. SO wish I would have found it sooner! I've recently sold my Rolex Submariner TT with blue dial and am looking for the most accurate replacement. Any words of wisdom? Thanks in advance, PAM1962
  4. Thanks! So these would be available only in the for sale sections here? I sold my gen Submariner blue dial TT and would like to find the best rep replacement. Any thoughts gents? Should I start a new thread?? Thanks!! PAM1962
  5. Can anyone please enlighten me as to what "MBW" stands for? Thanks, PAM1962
  6. Greetings, Would you mind to expound on this statement? As a relative new-comer (though I've been buying reps for 10 years plus, I'm new to this board! ) I'm not certain what you mean by "....feeling like the old days..."? Best, PAM1962
  7. I own this bracelet as well as the 'gen' 24 mm Breitling version. They rep is VERY, VERY nice. However I think the SOH has 24 mm lugs? Best, PAM1962
  8. That is a GORGEOUS time piece. May I ask the source for the rep? Best, PAM1962
  9. This has got to be the nicest online community anywhere! Thanks to you all. Just one more question: do you REMOVE them in the direction of the arrows, or the direction OPPOSITE THE ARROWS? Best, CC
  10. Greetings, I am new so be gentle. I purchased a UPO 45.5 with a stainless steel band from one of our TD's. The watch is AMAZING and I am very pleased with its quality. The problem I am having is in sizing the band. I have a standard plastic tool designed to allow removal of the link pins. I ran a Google and YouTube search on the matter and watched tutorials. Seemed very straightforward,...until I actually tried it! The pins seemed to come almost all the way out quite easily, but even with a pair of needle nose pliers I dared not pull any more firmly, but was still unable to remove them!! Any suggestions? Thoughts? Am I just being too timid? All the tutorials mention the pins should be (relatively) easy to remove. I am 'pushing' them in the direction indicated on the band. What am I doing wrong? Should I just give up and take the bracelet to a shop? Best, PAM1962
