  1. I have the 029 from EL, it definately has the ETA logo on movement.
  2. Last one on the bottom of the page won't work, numbers are in reverse order. ETA movements advance date by moving in a clockwise direction, the last one advances date in counterclockwise direction.
  3. crystalcranium You won't be able to interchange date wheels on an ETA and fit a Rolex or Rolex rep dial, dates are in different locations. You will need a date overlay that must glue onto the ETA date wheel to reposition the date to the proper location.
  4. Add another 67=1002
  5. beaneyboy Pre 2000 with proper spacing does not exist in the rep world except with gen El Primo movement installed. IF you can find one, they are probably in the $1800/2000 range, but the 7750 swiss or asian are both the wrong spacing on the subdials.
  6. Just my VJ72, wouldn't do sumum like that to a rep.
  7. rek001 Your question was on the standard ETA 2836/2824 if I understood it correctly. I have a fairly large collection of ETA reps, have never had one serviced and none with any problems. I am fully aware that a point in the future they will need servicing, but to service a non complicated movement that is working properly (especially a rep), does not make sense to me. (Unless you want to do it yourself for the sake of furthering you hobby) In the first place, the price of a replacement movement is well under the price of a full service, keep in mind that many of us can and do swap movements in their reps, if you don't feel comfortable in doing so, maybe by the time you buy a new movement and pay someone to install it, well a service may make sense. Besides, most of us get tired of a single rep and either rotate or buy a new watch well before a service is in order. I have a minimum of trouble with movements, probably because I tend to stay away from the problem and unproven movements.
  8. Richard 063, confirmed at 435.00.
  9. Should be "Swiss Made" not "Swiss T<25"
  10. Not just anyone has a vintage Yachty.
  11. Slayer Its the same arrangement as the 7750, seconds would be at 9:00 in a wrist watch.
  12. Josh, looks good. We just want to know when your gonna have your CRAZY SALE!!!
  13. jsph The 007 is the 2892, the Black Seamaster is 2824. 007 measurese 12.01, Black Seamaster 13.31, could be wrong, didn't know that they ever made the black Seamaster with 2892, other than 1.4 mm too thick, yes it is the next to near perfect that everyone talks about, got it from Sean (ETA Swiss about two years ago). I knew it was a bit special as soon as I opened the package, well made and heavy, and I've never seen another bracelet that comes close to this model, very heavy and thick.
  14. Here is a couple of pictures on the discontinued Seamaster referred to, both in my collection.
  15. Panny bracelet has the pin and sleeve arrangement that is like the Omega bracelets. You either need and bracelet tool or someting small enough to push the pin part way out, then pull the pin the rest of the way out with a pair of pliers (be careful, real easy to lose the small sleeves inside the links. You can push them back in until they engage the sleeves, then you will need to either press the rest of the way or very carefully drive with a hammer. Be gentle with the whole operation and you won't damage your bracelet or lose the sleeves, also very easy to bend a pin in the process. I'd really suggest taking it to a jeweler.
  16. Up and running
  17. If he is shipping the hands shown on TRC, correct me if I'm wrong, but they are the incorrect hands. His hour hand shows a wider lume strip than the lume strip on his minute hand, shouldn't they be the same width???
  18. Don't know about the expert part, but if you pull the crown out to the time set position and move the hands either clockwise or anti, on all Asians I've ever seen, the hands will move about twice as far per revolution of the crown than an ETA will.
  19. Glad to see so many made the trip this quick, good to see everyone.
